\tAll professional duties including planning, preparation, teaching a broad and balanced curriculum, marking and assessment, giving feedback and reporting.

\n\tThe pastoral care, safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all students.
\n\tContributing to the busy life of the school through the co-curricular programme.

Specific Duties<\/p>\n
Teaching & Learning and Assessment <\/p>\n
\tPlan and prepare learning activities and experiences for all children in line with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
\n\tDeliver a broad and balanced creative education which enables every child to develop to their maximum potential in a dynamic and caring environment.
\n\tTeach all students enthusiastically and to a high standard, according to the educational needs of each individual child.
\n\tCreate and maintain a well-managed and stimulating class environment which promotes positive learning.
\n\tProvide opportunities for the use of digital technology within all areas of the curriculum.
\n\tContribute to the Year Group team planning and organisation.
\n\tEstablish and manage good relationships with parents\/carers as partners in their children’s learning.
\n\tContinuously assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of every child.
\n\tMark classwork and homework in accordance with the school marking policy.
\n\tCommunicate and consult with parents regarding the academic, physical, social and emotional development of their children.<\/p>\n
Pastoral Care and Promoting the Wellbeing of Students: <\/p>\n
\tIncorporate the School\u2019s mission, aims and core values into your working practice and be a positive role model to others.
\n\tFoster the personal, social and emotional development of all students.
\n\tguidance and advice to students and parents on educational and social matters.
\n\tMaintain high standards of behaviour and safeguard students\u2019 health and safety both on the School premises and during school visits elsewhere.<\/p>\n
Other Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tContribute to the busy life of the School through the extra-curricular programme.
\n\tAttend and contribute to staff meetings and discussions.
\n\tActively participate in school activities and events, such as assemblies, plays, concerts, workshops, sports days, open events, trips and visits and fundraising ventures. Engage in continual self-assessment and keep current with curriculum and educational developments.
\n\tContribute to the continuous cycle of improvement of curriculum, schemes of work and resources within the school.<\/p>\n
Person Specification <\/p>\n
The successful candidate will:<\/p>\n
\tBe a fully qualified teacher with a minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
\n\tHave a valid Teacher Services Commission Certificate (if applying from Kenya) or a PGCE or Qualified Teacher Status (for overseas applicants).
\n\tAn enthusiastic and passionate educator
\n\tA team player Excellent interpersonal skills with students, colleagues and parents Adventurous, adaptable and excited by new experiences<\/p>\n
Remuneration Terms and Conditions <\/p>\n
\tThe initial contract is for a period of two years, renewable thereafter.
\n\tRemuneration package in line with experience and qualifications, and will be commensurate with the responsibilities of the role.
