capability development<\/p>\n<p>\tLead, develop, and support architects across the practice (Solution, Lead, and Enterprise Architects)<br \/>\n\tBuild a cohesive, high-performing architecture practice with clear roles, expectations, and ways of working<br \/>\n\tDrive capability development, mentoring, and skills uplift aligned to organizational needs<br \/>\n\tPlan and manage architecture practice capacity to balance demand, priorities, and available resources across the portfolio<br \/>\n\tFoster a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement<\/p>\n<p>Operational enablement of architecture &amp; technical debt<\/p>\n<p>\tEnable consistent identification, documentation, and visibility of architectural risks and technical debt<br \/>\n\tSupport the Principal Architect in maintaining visibility of the technical debt baseline and agreed remediation actions<br \/>\n\tEmbed architecture engagement into governance, service lifecycle, and planning processes<br \/>\n\tCoordinate inputs and follow-through across architects, delivery teams, and governance forums<\/p>\n<p>Integration, governance &amp; reporting<\/p>\n<p>\tIntegrate the architecture practice into portfolio, demand, and governance forums<br \/>\n\tEnsure architecture engagement is predictable, timely, and clearly understood across the organization<br \/>\n\tEnable effective use and adoption of architecture tools, repositories, and artefacts to support decision-making, governance, and practice maturity<br \/>\n\tEnsure architecture information remains accessible, accurate, and relevant for stakeholders and leadership<br \/>\n\tProvide visibility of architecture practice health, capacity, and effectiveness to senior stakeholders<br \/>\n\tContinuously refine architecture ways of working based on feedback and outcomes<\/p>\n<p>PROFESSIONAL BEHAVIORS &amp; integration<\/p>\n<p>\tCoordinates across teams and functions to reduce friction, duplication, and ambiguity<br \/>\n\tAligns architecture activities with delivery, governance, and planning rhythms<\/p>\n<p>Respect for technical authority<\/p>\n<p>\tActively protects and reinforces the technical authority of senior architects<br \/>\n\tDoes not override architectural judgment on technical matters<\/p>\n<p>Professional integrity<\/p>\n<p>\tActs with fairness, transparency, and accountability in people and practice leadership<\/p>\n<p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND EXPERIENCE:<\/p>\n<p>Required Education, training, license, registration, and\/or Certification<\/p>\n<p>\tBachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field<\/p>\n<p>Required Professional Experience<\/p>\n<p>Architectural practice &amp; operating model knowledge<\/p>\n<p>\tStrong understanding of enterprise architecture practices, roles, and engagement models across solution, domain, and enterprise levels<br \/>\n\tExperience embedding architecture into governance, portfolio management, and delivery lifecycles<br \/>\n\tUnderstanding of how architectural standards, technical debt, and risk management operate in complex organizations<br \/>\n\tWorking knowledge of architecture repositories, artefacts, and methods sufficient to enable consistent practice adoption and quality outcomes<\/p>\n<p>Stakeholder leadership &amp; communication<\/p>\n<p>\tStrong experience engaging senior business and technology leaders on architecture outcomes, priorities, and performance<br \/>\n\tAbility to translate architectural work into clear business value, risks, and maturity progress for executives<br \/>\n\tProven ability to influence without direct authority across federated teams and functions<br \/>\n\tExperience managing competing priorities, expectations, and organizational change<\/p>\n<p>People &amp; practice leadership experience<\/p>\n<p>\tExperience leading or enabling professional teams in a capability or practice model<br \/>\n\tExperience coaching, developing, and performance-managing senior technical professionals<br \/>\n\tExperience building consistent ways of working, standards adoption, and continuous improvement<\/p>\n<p>Operational &amp; governance experience<\/p>\n<p>\tExperience coordinating work across multiple teams, initiatives, and governance forums<br \/>\n\tExperience tracking practice performance, capacity, and outcomes to support leadership decision-making<br \/>\n\tExperience improving operational maturity of professional services or technical practices<\/p>\n<p>ROLE BOUNDARIES &amp;
