We are seeking a Head of Processing Plant to lead end-to-end operations, driving performance against key KPIs while ensuring efficient daily execution. The role is responsible for maintaining high standards of quality, cost, and productivity, and delivering consistent operational performance through strong leadership and accountability.<\/p>\n
Key responsibilities<\/p>\n
Run and stabilize processing operations.<\/p>\n
\tOwn end-to-end operations (processing, fish meal, novel)
\n\tDirectly manage supervisors and managers across functions
\n\tBe present on the floor to drive execution, solve problems, and enforce standards
\n\tBring structure and control to daily operations<\/p>\n
Build a culture focused on performance management and KPIs.<\/p>\n
\tClosely monitor KPIs (throughput, yield, costs, quality)
\n\tEstablish daily tracking and performance routines<\/p>\n
Drive improvement and scale output.<\/p>\n
\tIdentify bottlenecks and inefficiencies and realize solutions for them
\n\tLead initiatives to improve yield, productivity, and cost efficiency
\n\tRun trials and implement process improvements
\n\tScale operations in a controlled and repeatable way<\/p>\n
Partner with production, operations and support functions for systems planning.<\/p>\n
\tPut in place simple, effective operational systems and processes
\n\tOversee production planning and capacity management
\n\tCoordinate with harvesting, logistics, and other teams
\n\tWork with technical teams to implement and improve data systems<\/p>\n
Skills and Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Supply Chain Management, Agribusiness Management or related field.
\n\t10+ years of experience in manufacturing, processing, or industrial operations, ideally in horticulture or floriculture.
\n\tProven track record of successfully leading and scaling the operations of a similar facility successfully.
\n\tExperience improving performance in fast-paced environments.
\n\tStrong operational and problem-solving skills.
\n\tAbility to implement structure, KPIs, and systems.
\n\tComfortable working with data and performance metrics.
\n\tAbility to balance hands-on execution with planning and improvement.<\/p>\n
