Your mission at Sistema.bio:<\/p>\n
This role is responsible for leading Kenya sales strategy and team to deliver units and revenue targets through direct sales and partnership; while building a motivated high performing field team.<\/p>\n
You\u2019ll be in charge of:<\/p>\n
\tSales strategy development and execution:\u00a0Create Kenya’s annual sales strategy and goals in alignment with Africa-wide targets. Drive volume and revenue achievement through close monitoring of actuals, developing recourse and mitigation plans. Monitor the Kenyan market and competitor activities, sharing key insights and developing strategies to increase market share.\u00a0
\n\tSales operations efficiency and unit economics:\u00a0Control key cost drivers, including field operating expenses and Customer Acquisition Cost. Monitor workplans for field teams in line with approved budgets and sales priorities. Ensure efficient planning and use of marketing materials to support sales execution.\u00a0
\n\tTeam management and leadership:\u00a0Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing and motivated sales team and sales agents. Conduct regular field visits, structured 1:1s, and performance reviews with Area and Territory Sales Managers. Manage and resolve field team conflicts in collaboration with the People team.\u00a0
\n\tPartnership conversion sales strategy:\u00a0Turn active partnerships into clear county-level execution plans for the sales team. Remove operational bottlenecks affecting the partnership model to ensure smooth execution and effective lead conversion.\u00a0
\n\tData, reporting, and automation:\u00a0Ensure all data collected by the sales team meets carbon programme quality expectations. Prepare detailed regional sales performance reports covering regional results, sales agent productivity, and channel performance<\/p>\n
More about YOU:<\/p>\n
\tDegree in Business, Agribusiness, Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, or a related field. An MBA or relevant commercial leadership training is an advantage.\u00a0
\n\tAt least 7\u201310 years of field sales experience with a track record of top performance\u00a0
\n\tProcess-oriented with proven ability to rigorously scale a sales team of sales agents
\n\tWilling to work as a sales agent for at least one month during onboarding to learn the job and connect with the team\u00a0
\n\tObsessed with measuring performance through data and proven experience in improving Customer Acquisition Cost\u00a0
\n\tEnergised when in the field with your team and spending time with farmers
\n\t\u00a0Excellent at training, growing, and coaching your team, and collaborating across different business units\u00a0
\n\tProficient in Salesforce and GSuite tools\u00a0<\/p>\n

\tThis is a full-time position based in Nairobi, Kenya, however, for this role you will be required to be 80% in the field.
\n\tYou will travel extensively across Kenya to coach and support sales field team
