JOB PURPOSE<\/p>\n
\tWe are seeking\u00a0dedicated and hands-on After-Sales Technician\u00a0who will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and quality assurance of client\u00a0swap stations\u00a0located in\u00a0Kenya. This role requires close coordination with the Quality Department and customers to ensure timely problem resolution, performance optimization, and compliance with company quality standards.<\/p>\n
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
\tCustomer Complaint Handling: Resolve field quality issues efficiently.
\n\tField Failure Analysis: Identify root causes of failures reported in the field.
\n\tCorrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA): Implement actions to eliminate root causes and prevent recurrence.
\n\tWarranty Cost Reduction: Reduce overall cost of warranty claims and replacements.
\n\tField Data Collection & Reporting: Gather and analyse field performance and failure data.
\n\tDealer & Service Centre Support: Support service teams with technical training and issue resolution.
\n\tFeedback to Design & Production Teams: Close loop between field and factory for continuous improvement.
\n\tField Audit & Quality Checks: Conduct periodic quality audits at service centres, dealerships,or customer sites.
\n\tRegulatory and Safety Compliance: Ensure field products comply with safety norms and EV regulations.<\/p>\n
EDUCATION, PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related field.
\n\tMinimum of 1 year of experience in a factory environment
\n\tExperience in vehicle maintenance or electrical appliance repair will be an advantage.<\/p>\n
Skills & Competencies:<\/p>\n
\tStrong hands-on technical ability and analytical thinking.
\n\tExcellent Communication skills; proficiency in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
\n\tProficient in Microsoft Office and other standard office software.
\n\tAbility to work independently and adapt to frequent business trips across regions.
\n\tResponsible, diligent, and proactive in problem-solving.
\n\tStrong sense of teamwork and commitment to continuous improvement.
