Main accountabilities of the Driver Instructor will include: –<\/p>\n
\tPreparation of operator authorization documentation.
\n\tOrganizing and training Company drivers on theoretical and practical skills for safe equipment operation including highway code, road safety rules, defensive driving and road hazard awareness.
\n\tDeveloping driver training manuals.
\n\tSpontaneous vehicle inspections and preparing reports on the same.
\n\tUpdating and maintaining equipment operator\u2019s data system.
\n\tManaging and updating driver\u2019s database to ensure all DMKL authorized drivers\/riders\/ operator\u2019s licenses are valid.
\n\tRecording annual Road traffic accidents reports, analysing per departments and identify training needs. Investigating, reporting and providing recommendations on action to be taken on accidents and incidents involving company equipment.
\n\tAssisting in organizing and coordinating trainings involving all departments.
\n\tAssisting in coordination of students on attachment and management trainees.
\n\tCoordinating NITA activities.
\n\tMaintaining records.<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS: –<\/p>\n
The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements: –<\/p>\n
\t\u00a0NTSA Plant Operator Certificate.
\n\tComputer literate.
\n\tAt least 5 years of hands on experience as an instructor.
\n\tKnowledgeable on highway code, traffic rules and defensive driving skills.
\n\tRoad Safety conscious.
\n\tAttention to details for accuracy in record keeping, material preparation and coordination.
\n\tOrganizational skills – ability to manage multiple tasks and schedules.
\n\tCommunication skills \u2013 verbal and written.
\n\tGood interpersonal skills.
\n\tTeam work for collaboration with other team members.<\/p>\n
