\tWe are seeking an Accountant to lead the Institute\u2019s Accounting function. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire accounting cycle, ensure regulatory compliance, provide strategic financial insights, and lead the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to the management and the Council.<\/p>\n
Key Result Areas<\/p>\n
\tFinancial reporting, forecasting, and financial records management.
\n\tBudget preparation, monitoring, variance analysis, and financial planning.
\n\tRevenue, receivables, credit control, and cash flow management.
\n\tFinancial accounting systems management and operational efficiency.
\n\tInternal controls, including accounting, payroll, asset safeguarding, and tax compliance.
\n\tFinancial analysis, advisory, and decision-support reporting.
\n\tAudit coordination, regulatory compliance, staff supervision, and continuous improvement of financial procedures.<\/p>\n
Job Specification\/Requirements<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized university, with a master\u2019s degree as an added advantage.
\n\tCertified Public Accountant (CPA) and member of ICPAK in good standing.
\n\tMinimum of three (3) years relevant work experience, preferably in the public sector or in a professional membership organization.
\n\tProficiency in advanced Excel skills and computerized accounting systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central),
\n\tStrong communication and presentation abilities.<\/p>\n
