About the Role
\nMiale Solar is seeking a highly skilled Asset Manager to oversee the performance, maintenance, and optimization of our solar PV and energy storage assets. The role is critical in ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and long-term asset value.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tOversee the commercial, financial, and operational performance of renewable energy assets
\n\tEnsure compliance with project agreements, regulatory requirements, and lender obligations
\n\tManage stakeholder relationships, including regulators, shareholders, and local partners
\n\tMonitor performance of solar PV and BESS systems
\n\tDiagnose and resolve operational faults and system alarms
\n\tLead and supervise the O&M team and field technicians
\n\tDevelop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules
\n\tEnsure availability of tools, spare parts, and consumables
\n\tAnalyze system performance data and recommend optimization solutions
\n\tConduct site audits and assess asset conditions
\n\tProvide performance reports and act as the technical contact post-commissioning
\n\tSupport client escalations, system upgrades, and technical improvements
\n\tPrepare and manage O&M budgets and track costs
\n\tMaintain accurate documentation and reporting for all sites
\n\tDrive initiatives to optimize asset performance and project returns<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or related field
\n\tProven experience managing and optimizing renewable energy assets (solar PV, BESS, or similar)
\n\tStrong understanding of performance monitoring systems, SCADA, and data acquisition tools
\n\tKnowledge of energy production metrics and performance analysis
\n\tAbility to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
\n\tStrong communication skills with the ability to simplify technical information
\n\tExcellent organizational and project management skills<\/p>\n
