About the Role:<\/p>\n
\tThe Software Engineer will play a critical role in helping our build our technological future as we strive to improve internal processes and better serve our customers and partners.
\n\tThe role sits within our \u201cService Center\u201d team, supporting the operations and growth of multiple country offices.
\n\tThe Software Engineer will work with the leadership across technology, insurance operations, Customer operations, partnerships management, and business development to gather requirements, implement solutions, communicate project statuses and make proposals.<\/p>\n
Key Roles & Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tDesign, develop, document, and implement solutions to users\u2019 needs and requirements.
\n\tMaintain and manage existing source code and systems.
\n\tDevelop unit and integration tests.
\n\tProactively search for and fix bugs.
\n\tDesign and develop logical and physical data models that meet application requirements.
\n\tDeploying software tools, processes, and metrics.
\n\tProviding technological support to the rest of the team.
\n\tTraining users on the use of systems.
\n\tCreate technical documentation for internal and external use.
\n\tInvestigating and using new technologies where relevant.<\/p>\n
Key Qualifications & Your Profile:<\/p>\n

\n\tHands-on programming experience developing in Java (Spring Boot) and\/or Javascript (ReactJS, Vue, or AngularJS).
\n\tUnderstanding of SQL and practical experience with any database system.
\n\tExperience working in a professional software engineering team.
\n\tStart-up experience is highly desired.
\n\tOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with both internal and external stakeholders.
\n\tA willingness to roll up one\u2019s sleeves and dig into details to solve problems and tackle hands-on work.
\n\tIntensely detailed oriented and data driven.
\n\tHumble, collaborative team player.
\n\tAbility to navigate ambiguity, juggle multiple complex tasks, think independently, demonstrate sound judgment, and problem solve.
\n\tBachelor\/Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or related fields with Excellent grades is a plus.
\n\tPractical Engineering skills gained through self teaching, work experience, freelancing and or tech Bootcamps and training programs.
\n\tStrong knowledge of algorithms and data structures.<\/p>\n
