About the role<\/p>\n
\tThe NAV ERP Manager will own and manage the integrity, performance, and continuous improvement of the MPS\/MRP process in Microsoft Dynamics NAV across BURN Manufacturing’s stove operations. The role combines functional planning expertise with strong NAV technical capability to ensure the ERP system supports effective production planning, material availability, inventory control, and issue resolution.
\n\tThis position is critical in aligning system capability with business needs across planning, procurement, production, inventory, and operations. The successful candidate will act as both a system process owner for planning In NAV and as the go-to technical support lead for NAV-related operational issues.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
MPS \/MRP Process Ownership in NAV<\/p>\n
\tLead and manage the end-to-end Master Production Scheduling(MPS) and Material Requirements Planning(MRP) processes within Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
\n\tEnsure planning parameters in NAV are correctly configured and maintained, including:<\/p>\n
\t\tlead times
\n\t\treorder policies
\n\t\tsafety stock parameters
\n\t\tlot sizing rules
\n\t\treplenishment systems
\n\t\tdemand planning inputs
\n\t\tforecast consumption logic<\/p>\n
\tDrive system discipline to ensure MPS\/MRP outputs are accurate, reliable, and aligned with business requirements.
\n\tReview and optimize planning master data to improve system-generated proposals and minimize planning exceptions.
\n\tSupport the monthly, weekly, and daily planning cycles by ensuring NAV generates effective purchase, production, and transfer recommendations.
\n\tMonitor and improve the quality of system outputs related to supply plans, shortages. Excess stock, and production scheduling.
\n\tWork closely with planning, procurement, production, warehouse, and inventory teams to translate operational needs into ERP process improvements.
\n\tEnsure planning transactions and system processes are executed according to standard operation procedures.

\u00a0NAV Functional and Technical Support<\/p>\n
\tServe as the primary point of contact for NAV-related issues affecting planning, inventory, procurement, manufacturing, and related functions.
\n\tTroubleshoot and resolve NAV issues raised by users, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
\n\tAnalyze system errors, process failures, and data inconsistencies, and coordinate corrective actions.
\n\tProvide hands-on support for NAV functional setup, issue diagnosis, testing, and user guidance.
\n\tLiaise with internal IT teams, external NAV consultants, and developers where deeper technical intervention is required.
\n\tTranslate business issues into technical requirements and ensure solutions are properly implemented and tested.
\n\tSupport system upgrades, enhancements, patches, and change requests related to NAV.
\n\tMaintain documentation of recurring issues, root causes, fixes, and process controls.<\/p>\n
Master Data Governance<\/p>\n
\tEnsure the integrity of planning and inventory-related master data in NAV, including:<\/p>\n
\t\tItem cards
\n\t\tBOMs
\n\t\tRoutings
\n\t\tVendor parameters
\n\t\tSKU classifications
\n\t\tReplenishment settings
\n\t\tProduction and warehouse parameters<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and enforce governance standards for data creation, maintenance, and change control.
\n\tConduct regular audits of critical data fields impacting MPS\/MRP performance.
\n\tWork with stakeholders to correct data inaccuracies affecting planning and execution.<\/p>\n
ERP Improvement and Process Optimization<\/p>\n
\tIdentify opportunities to improve ERP-supported planning and inventory processes.
\n\tDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance:<\/p>\n
\t\tInventory health
\n\t\tMaterial availability
\n\t\tPlan accuracy
\n\t\tService levels
\n\t\tSystem usability<\/p>\n
\tRecommend and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and reporting tools within NAV.
\n\tPartner with business teams to redesign workflows to improve ERP effectiveness.
\n\tSupport development of dashboards and KPIs for monitoring planning and ERP performance.<\/p>\n
Cross-Functional Collaboration<\/p>\n
\tWork closely with Supply Chain, Production, Procurement, Warehouse, Finance, and IT teams.
\n\tEnsure alignment between ERP planning logic and actual operational realities.
\n\tTrain and guide users on proper NAV transaction discipline and best practices.
\n\tAct as a bridge between business users and technical teams.<\/p>\n

Skills and Experience\u00a0:<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, Operations Management, or related field
\n\tERP or Microsoft Dynamics certification is an advantage
\n\t5\u20138 years of experience in ERP management, supply chain planning, or manufacturing systems
\n\tProven experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV in manufacturing
\n\tStrong experience with MPS\/MRP, production planning, and inventory control
\n\tExperience supporting ERP users in fast-paced environments
\n\tManufacturing\/FMCG\/industrial experience preferred
\n\tStrong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (configuration, transactions, support)
\n\tUnderstanding of:<\/p>\n

\n\t\tDemand and supply planning
