JOB ROLE SUMMARY<\/p>\n
\tWe are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support finance operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
\n\tThe role will focus on transaction processing, supplier accounts, cost tracking, and financial controls, while working closely with procurement, stores, and operations teams to ensure accuracy and accountability across the business.<\/p>\n
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
\tMaintain accurate financial records and reconciliations by ensuring all transactions are properly captured, posted, and reviewed, with timely resolution of any discrepancies.
\n\tMaintain proper financial records and documentation in line with internal controls
\n\tSupport accounts payable and receivable functions
\n\tProcess supplier invoices and payments in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with internal approval processes and maintaining effective coordination with suppliers and internal teams.
\n\tPerform three-way matching of invoices, Goods Received Notes (GRNs), and purchase orders to confirm accuracy and alignment with actual deliveries before payment processing.
\n\tSupport cost control and financial reporting by capturing and tracking material and operational costs, and providing accurate data for monthly reporting and analysis.
\n\tSupport finance team in cost allocation and reporting within the manufacturing process
\n\tPerform supplier account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
\n\tAssist in preparing monthly financial reports and schedules
\n\tMaintain organized financial records and support audit and compliance requirements within the finance function.
\n\tEnsure adherence to financial policies and statutory requirements
\n\tSupport internal and external audit processes<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPEREINCE<\/p>\n
\tDiploma\/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
\n\t4 years\u2019 experience in accounts\/finance within a manufacturing or industrial setup
\n\tStrong understanding of: Accounts payable\/receivable & Supplier reconciliations
\n\tBasic costing principles
\n\tExperience with ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, SAP, QuickBooks or similar)
\n\tHigh attention to detail and accuracy
\n\tStrong coordination skills with suppliers and internal departments<\/p>\n
