KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tSupport in developing individual business segments profit & loss accounts and the annual budgeting process including the consolidation of various branches, sectors, and channels. \u00a0\u00a0
\n\tPrepare and report monthly business performance and financial forecasts.\u00a0
\n\tProvide effective insights and analysis to assist the assigned Business portfolio in meeting the established financial and profit objectives.\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tProvide analytical support and analysis to the finance business partner.\u00a0
\n\tAnalyze sales, financial, costing, and operational data and extract and define relevant information.\u00a0
\n\tAnalysis of Products life cycle \u2013 create new products growth opportunities and evaluate existing products to advise business on plateauing and declining products for remediation.\u00a0
\n\tInterpret data for the purpose of determining the root causes of past figures, financial, costing, and operational performance.\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tMaintain Key Performance Indicators & dashboard and run a central database for reporting.\u00a0
\n\tGenerate standard, custom and or complex reports summarizing business, financial, or economic data for review and consumption by users, business managers and other relevant stakeholders.\u00a0
\n\tAnalyze and or collate business\/trend data to support recommendations for action, building of business cases and post implementation reviews of assigned business portfolio initiatives\/projects.\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tProvide timely business intelligence\/analysis reports to users, business managers and other relevant stakeholders. Maintain and or circulate business information securely with due regard for confidentiality.<\/p>\n
MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
The preferred candidate will meet the following minimum criteria:<\/p>\n
\tBachelor of Commerce (Finance or Accounting Option) or other related business Degree, Bachelor of Arts (Economics), BSC (Mathematics, Actuarial Science or Engineering).
\n\tProfessional qualifications: CPA 2 or ACCA
\n\tProfessional qualifications in financial analysis is an added advantage.
\n\tAt least\u00a03 year’s\u00a0relevant experience in\u00a0financial &\/or business performance analysis and reporting. This should include specific experience in the following:<\/p>\n
\t\tSQL scripting
\n\t\tUse of data analysis tools e.g. EDWH, SAP BI, Power BI, etc.
\n\t\tCross-functional stakeholder management<\/p>\n
