Customer Service<\/p>\n<p>\tCollaborate and coordinate the development and the implementation of the sales initiatives with other branch business stakeholders.<br \/>\n\tContinuously conduct and advise market intelligence to identify new markets customer trends, branch government directives and changes in the policy.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tAct as the Banks&#8217;s brand ambassador.<br \/>\n\tParticipate in development &amp; execution of strategies that build the Equity brand and endear it to its chosen markets.<br \/>\n\tCoordinate Branch marketing initiatives<br \/>\n\tOriginate, build and sustain strategic business partnerships.<br \/>\n\tPosition Equity Bank Kenya as a preferred Bank.<br \/>\n\tEnsure full adherence to the Bank\u2019s customer service chatter.<br \/>\n\tIncrease market share in line with strategic ambitions and in a profitable, ethical and sustainable manner.<\/p>\n<p>Audit Risk &amp; Compliance<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsuring the quality of the loan book in the various segments within the branch is within expected standards.<br \/>\n\tParticipates in Branch Credit Committee as per policy.<br \/>\n\tEnsure adherence of policies and procedures from regulatory authorities, Equity bank and other stakeholders.<br \/>\n\tPut in place effective Business Continuity plan for various segment.<br \/>\n\tEnsure audit and risk rating for the Branch improves and is within set thresholds as per the key performance indicators communicated sometimes.<br \/>\n\tCommunicate and articulate the Bank\u2019s risk and control environment to the unit staff and ensure good appreciation of the same.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>People Management<\/p>\n<p>\tHarness existing and create new competencies in order to achieve competitive advantage.<br \/>\n\tMaintain the appropriate number and caliber human resource to deliver exceptional service, achieve targets and maximize the business&#8217; efficiency and effectiveness.<br \/>\n\tManage succession at segments levels and strive to have competent successors for every key position in the branch with the aim of efficient business continuity and cost management.<br \/>\n\tMentor and coach staff to build their capacity to perform the roles assigned to them.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tProvide career guidance and avail learning opportunities and assignments to enhance engagement and career progression.<br \/>\n\tMaintain high morale and motivated staff in the branch.<br \/>\n\tSet performance expectations and conduct performance management evaluations promptly to ensure superior performance levels are maintained.<br \/>\n\tAdhere to HR policies in the management of employees.<\/p>\n<p>Performance &amp; Reporting<\/p>\n<p>\tOptimize the use of the Bank\u2019s Management Information System for performance management.<br \/>\n\tEnsure optimum segmentation of the Bank\u2019s client database and targeted marketing on the various business segment.<br \/>\n\tTimely submission of reports to key stakeholders to aid in decision making.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications, Experience &amp;
