{"id":94777,"date":"2026-04-21T16:02:22","date_gmt":"2026-04-21T16:02:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/kenya\/job\/talent-and-culture-officer\/"},"modified":"2026-04-21T16:03:17","modified_gmt":"2026-04-21T16:03:17","slug":"talent-and-culture-officer","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/kenya\/job\/talent-and-culture-officer\/","title":{"rendered":"Talent and Culture Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Job Summary<\/p>\n<p>\tTo provide comprehensive Talent &amp; Culture support to across the FH Kenya\u2019s Country Office by ensuring effective implementation of T&amp;C policies, programs and related activities, and by supporting managers and staff in all T&amp;C matters to enhance organizational effectiveness)<\/p>\n<p>Skills &amp; Competencies<\/p>\n<p>\tVibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ\u00a0<br \/>\n\tExcellent interpersonal relationship, report-writing skills and communications skills\u00a0<br \/>\n\tAbility to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.<br \/>\n\tStrong administrative, organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail<br \/>\n\tHighly motivated, self-starter able to work on own initiative in difficult conditions\u00a0<br \/>\n\tUnderstanding of\u00a0<br \/>\n\t\u00a0principles, best practices, and knowledge of labor laws &amp; government regulations that concern workplaces and employment matters.<br \/>\n\tProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Key Result #1 \u2013 Managing the recruitment\u00a0and onboarding process<\/p>\n<p>\tCoordinate \u2013 in liaison with the Talent &amp; Culture Manager &amp; hiring manager the entire recruitment cycle, from formulating job advertisements to arranging interviews for specified positions ensuring vacancies are advertised appropriately with clearly stated Job Description\u00a0<br \/>\n\tConfirm and affirm that due process has been followed in every employee Resourcing process.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tEnsure that advertised vacancies have been longlisted\/ shortlisted and the list forwarded to the Talent &amp; Culture Manager\/Hiring Manager.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tEnsure timely feedback to unsuccessful candidates.<br \/>\n\tConduct reference check for successful candidates.<br \/>\n\tAscertain accuracy and completeness of the staff information and records: National ID\/ Passport, Advert, Job description, Recruitment sheets, CV\u2019s etc\u00a0<br \/>\n\tCoordinate staff onboarding programs.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tPrepare contracts, welcome notes and all other statutory documents for newly hired staff, temporary staff and Interns.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tIssue onboarding surveys to new staff, prepare reports on the same and forward to the Talent &amp; Culture Manager.<br \/>\n\tMaintain schedules for contract expiry dates and probation period expiry dates and take necessary actions regarding continuing, renewing or terminating contracts.<br \/>\n\tCoordinate staff exit and offboarding processes, including resignations and terminations, conducting exit interviews, processing final settlements and benefits, and ensuring proper handover and documentation.<\/p>\n<p>Key Result #2\u2013 Performance Management, Employee Relations &amp; Engagement<\/p>\n<p>\tSupport with the process of objective Setting, mid-year reviews and end of year appraisals.<br \/>\n\tCoordinate and ensure timely completion of the annual performance evaluation process. Track performance review cycles to ensure timely completion and reporting.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tMaintain accurate records of performance evaluations and recommendations for development actions.<br \/>\n\tSupport with employee relations, providing guidance on concerns, grievances, or conflicts, escalating serious cases to the Talent &amp; Culture Manager.<br \/>\n\tSupport the rollout of well-being, recognition and staff care programs<br \/>\n\tWork to actively engage in building trust with staff all levels in all roles.<br \/>\n\tSupport employee wellbeing and work\u2013life balance by effectively managing leave schedules and leave balances across all offices, while ensuring compliance with leave policy. Maintain the Orange HR platform by creating and updating employee profiles.<br \/>\n\tSupport staff morning devotions and ensure necessary materials are available in goodtime.
