Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Assistant to support their finance function. This role suits a professional with strong accounting knowledge and a hands-on approach to financial operations to ensure accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with statutory requirements.
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tMaintain accurate financial records, including journals, ledgers, and reconciliations
\n\tPerform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations
\n\tSupport preparation of financial statements
\n\tManage invoicing and accounts receivable\/payable Ensure timely statutory filings (VAT, withholding tax, etc.)
\n\tHandle tax compliance including rental income tax, VAT, withholding tax, and capital gains Identify and resolve discrepancies
\n\tMaintain proper documentation and audit trails
\n\tSupport audits and liaise with auditors and regulators<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\t2-3 years of accounting experience
\n\tProficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel
\n\tKnowledge of tax obligations, preferably in real
\n\tStrong understanding of accounting principles and reporting estate\/property management
\n\tHigh accuracy and attention to detail
\n\tStrong organizational and time management skills
\n\tAbility to handle confidential information professionally<\/p>\n
