About the role:<\/p>\n
\tThe Associate Regional Store Coordinator will oversee inventory management at the Company\u2019s retail centers, extending to field-based agents. The role involves regular travel within the station region.<\/p>\n
What you would be expected to do:<\/p>\n
Retail centers day to day assistance<\/p>\n
\t\u00a0Liaise with the warehouse team to ensure that inventory is readily available for sale.
\n\tOffer assistance to retail executives to ensure they meet their KPIs.
\n\tLiaise with the sales team to review retail centre executives on potential improvement areas.
\n\tInitiate requests for declaration signoffs for missing inventory
\n\tReport cases of inventory damages\/ losses to allow for insurance claim to be initiated.
\n\tInitiate discussions revolving around new initiatives geared at ensuring retail centers are efficient and effective in services rendered.
\n\tConduct regular inventory audits, whether scheduled or impromptu\u00a0
\n\tReview processes and controls existing to ensure they are optimized to reduce redundancies within the chain.
\n\tWill represent the department in all meetings scheduled with either internal or external stakeholders within the region that involve inventory management and retail center management.
\n\tWill conduct handovers from retail center executives to relievers and vice versa.
\n\tWill vet relievers to ensure that they meet the requisite qualifications needed to run the retail centers.
\n\tWill request for payment for relievers for days worked.
\n\tSit in for interviews when required alongside with Human Resource during onboarding of new retail center executives.
\n\tLiaise with the sales team and marketing team to identify potential sites that might be considered as new retail centers.
\n\tConduct regular checks on assets at the retail centers to ensure that they are in good working order.
\n\tLiaise with the Admin team to schedule repairs at the retail centers.
\n\tLiaise with the Admin team to engage landlords on any issues that might exist.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Order and inventory Management\u00a0<\/p>\n
\t\u00a0Initiate inventory movements and requests from warehouse to retail centers
\n\tLiaise with the warehouse team to resolve any inconsistencies that come with deliveries done at the retail centers.
\n\tLiaise with retail center executives to ensure that inventory management standards are met, including but not limited to FIFO amongst others
\n\tLiaise with the warehouse and retail centers executives to provide packaging for products that are defaced.
\n\tRegular review of all processes currently in place aimed at achieving best inventory management practices.
\n\tBe on the lookout for any new trends and emerging trends that relate to the industry that can be implemented to increase efficiency.
\n\tCoordinate inventory reconciliation
\n\t\u00a0Validation of all products marked as obsolete and damaged that are to be returned to the warehouse.
\n\t\u00a0Engage field agents to periodically validate inventory holding<\/p>\n
Compliance<\/p>\n
\t\u00a0Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations at all retail centers, include but not limited to ensuring permits and licenses are displayed.<\/p>\n
Innovation<\/p>\n
\tBe on the lookout for new trends within the supply chain field that will improve and enhance inventory management processes
\n\tRecommend to management new processes, need to revamp process to efficiently assist the day-to-day operations of the retail centres<\/p>\n
You might be a strong candidate if you:<\/p>\n
\tHold a degree qualification preferably in Supply Chain Management, Statistics, or any Finance Related Field\u00a0
\n\tHave 2-3 years\u2019 working experience in Finance, Supply Chain Management and\/or Statistics.
\n\tDemonstrate knowledge in contract management.
\n\tAre able to work comfortably with and maintain large volumes of data in excel.\u00a0
\n\tDemonstrate knowledge and working experience with an ERP preferably SAP
\n\tCan multi-task and address contesting priorities.
\n\tAre goal-oriented and organized team player.
\n\tDemonstrate proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
\n\tPossess excellent verbal & written communication skills
\n\tHave the ability to work remotely under minimal supervision.<\/p>\n
