Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Sales & Promotion<\/p>\n
\tPromote and sell a portfolio of leading consumer health and OTC products, consistently meeting sales targets and performance objectives.
\n\tDrive expert recommendation through effective detailing and execution of the \u201c6 Steps of a Call\u201d model.<\/p>\n
Relationship Management<\/p>\n
\tBuild and nurture strong, long\u2011standing relationships within the pharmacy channel to maximise business opportunities and strengthen brand presence.<\/p>\n
Market Intelligence<\/p>\n
\tConduct market assessments to identify opportunities, track competitor activities, and recommend strategies aligned to business objectives.<\/p>\n
Product Knowledge & Training<\/p>\n
\tMaintain a deep understanding of product indications, benefits, contraindications, and clinical data.
\n\tConduct in\u2011store training and Lunch & Learn sessions (minimum six per month) to enhance product understanding and advocacy.<\/p>\n
In\u2011Store Execution & Merchandising<\/p>\n
\tCoordinate and guide 3rd\u2011party merchandising teams to ensure excellent execution, visibility, and availability.
\n\tNegotiate for optimal share of shelf (SoS) and forward share, aligned to market share expectations.<\/p>\n
Reporting & Compliance<\/p>\n
\tSubmit accurate and timely reports on sales activity, market insights, and customer feedback.
\n\tEnsure complete compliance with CRM and digital reporting tools (e.g., FSFA, Veeva) and adhere to all regulatory, ethical, and internal policy guidelines.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
Education<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree, preferably in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medical, Paramedical, or FMCG-related fields.<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\t1\u20133 years\u2019 experience in pharmaceutical, OTC, or FMCG sales with a solid understanding of pharmacy operations.
\n\tDemonstrated success in achieving sales targets within field\u2011based roles.<\/p>\n
Skills & Competencies<\/p>\n
\tStrong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
\n\tAbility to build rapport, influence pharmacy stakeholders, and deliver compelling product messages.
\n\tHighly self\u2011motivated with strong planning and organisational abilities.
\n\tProficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.<\/p>\n
Additional Requirements<\/p>\n
\tWillingness and ability to travel frequently within the Mount Kenya region.
\n\tWillingness to work under a third\u2011party employment contract.<\/p>\n
