Job Purpose:<\/p>\n
\tThe Quality & Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities meet the required quality standards and safety regulations. The role involves conducting inspections, coordinating material testing, maintaining accurate records, and supporting safe and efficient site operations.<\/p>\n
Key Duties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tMonitor and ensure compliance with approved engineering standards, specifications, and safety regulations on site.
\n\tRecord concrete pouring time for each structural component and maintain proper documentation.
\n\tPrepare concrete test blocks, coordinate batch testing, and compile concrete test reports.
\n\tCoordinate batch testing of bulk construction materials and maintain accurate quality test reports.
\n\tMaintain and update machinery maintenance records, ensuring proper documentation and timely servicing.
\n\tConduct routine quality and safety inspections; identify non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
\n\tEnsure all safety procedures and guidelines are strictly followed on site.
\n\tPrepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly quality and safety reports.
\n\tMaintain proper filing and documentation of all inspection records and reports.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tDiploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
\n\tAt least 2 years\u2019 experience in engineering quality inspection within a construction environment.
\n\tProficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
\n\tKnowledge of construction quality control standards and material testing procedures.
\n\tBasic understanding of occupational health and safety requirements.<\/p>\n
