We are looking for a detail-oriented and trustworthy Accountant to support our day-to-day financial operations.\u00a0<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
\tRecord daily sales, expenses, and payments in the accounting system\u00a0
\n\tReconcile M-Pesa, bank, and till transactions on a daily basis
\n\tPrepare weekly and monthly financial summaries and reports for management
\n\tProcess supplier invoices and coordinate timely payments
\n\tMaintain and update petty cash records accurately
\n\tTrack inventory\/stock costs and flag any discrepancies.
\n\tSupport monthly stock-takes and assist with end-of-month closing reports
\n\tAssist with payroll preparation \u2014 collating attendance, leave records, and statutory deductions.
\n\tSupport filing of VAT, PAYE, NSSF, NHIF\/SHA, and other statutory returns.
\n\tManage customer\/client accounts and follow up on outstanding payments
\n\tMaintain organised and up-to-date financial records and documentation<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
\tDiploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
\n\tCPA secrion 2
\n\tMinimum 3 years’ experience in a similar accounting or finance support role
\n\tProficiency in accounting systems\u00a0
\n\tFamiliarity with KRA iTax, NSSF, and NHIF\/SHA portals is a plus
\n\tStrong attention to detail and a high level of integrity
\n\tGood communication and organisational skills
\n\tAbility to work independently with minimal supervision
\n\tA proactive team player who is eager to learn and grow<\/p>\n
