Qualifications\/Requirements<\/p>\n
\tBachelor of Medicine or Bachelor of Surgery from a recognized university (MBChB or MBBS)
\n\tRegistered and with a valid license from the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council
\n\tAt least one (1) year post-internship experience in either a public or private hospital.
\n\tCertificate in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
\n\tKnowledge of healthcare policies, documentation, and reporting procedures.
\n\tProficiency in computer skills (especially Health Management Information Systems).<\/p>\n
Desirable skills<\/p>\n
\tStrong clinical decision-making and patient management skills.
\n\tInterest in leading a medical team, managing staff, and overseeing clinical operations.
\n\tProject management and report writing skills.
\n\tLeadership experience, financial knowledge, e.g., budgeting, cost management, basic accounting. Knowledge of the laws of Kenya, regulations, guidelines, and health schemes.
\n\tGood communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with staff, patients, and other stakeholders.<\/p>\n
