Job Description<\/p>\n
We are seeking a detail-oriented Health Records & Information Management Officer to join our healthcare team in Nanyuki. The role involves accurate management of patient health records, support of clinical documentation, and contribution to healthcare reporting, claims processing, and data verification in line with Social Health Authority (SHA) requirements.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tManage and maintain accurate patient health records (Both manual and electronic systems)
\n\tEnsure proper documentation, filing and retrieval of medical records
\n\tHandle\u00a0Social Health Authority(SHA)\u00a0claim processing, verification and reconciliation
\n\tLiaise with clinical and administrative staff to ensure completeness of patient data.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure compliance with data protection and confidentiality standards.
\n\tPrepare periodic reports on records and SHA claims status
\n\tAssist in audits related to health records and insurance claims.\u00a0
\n\tFamiliarity with\u00a0ICD 11 (International Classification of Disease)<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tDiploma \/ Degree in Health Records and Information Management or related field.\u00a0
\n\tMUST\u00a0be registered with the relevant professional body.\u00a0
\n\tA minimum of 3 years proven experience working in a busy healthcare setting.\u00a0
\n\tDemonstrated knowledge and experience in handling\u00a0Social Health Authority (SHA)
\n\tProficiency in health information systems and MS Office applications.
\n\tStrong organizational and communication skills
\n\tHigh level of Integrity and confidentiality.<\/p>\n
