ROLE PURPOSE<\/p>\n
To deliver Retail sales at the Shop through disciplined customer service, accurate invoicing and receipt issuance, strict stock control, and maintenance of a clean and orderly retail environment. The role requires absolute integrity, as it involves handling company stock, and official company records and payments.<\/p>\n
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
1. Sales & Customer Service<\/p>\n
\tServe walk-in customers professionally and courteously.
\n\tIdentify customer requirements and recommend appropriate products.
\n\tPrepare quotations, close sales, and support repeat business.<\/p>\n
2. Sales Documentation & Cash Handling<\/p>\n
\tPrepare accurate invoices for every sale.
\n\tIssue official receipts for all payments without exception, in compliance with company controls.
\n\tEnsure no goods leave the shop without full payment and proper documentation, Credit terms can only be authorized by the Management.
\n\tConfirm stock availability before committing to any sale.<\/p>\n
3. Shop Cleanliness & Order<\/p>\n
\tMaintain the shop in a clean, orderly, and presentable condition at all times, including shelves, counters, and customer areas.<\/p>\n
4. Integrity, Discipline & Compliance<\/p>\n
\tPerform duties with honesty, integrity, and accountability as required under company policy.
\n\tSafeguard company cash, stock, equipment, and records.
\n\tImmediately report theft, fraud, attempted fraud, stock loss, or any unethical conduct.<\/p>\n
\u00a05. Reporting<\/p>\n
\tPrepare and submit daily sales, cash, and handover reports accurately and on time.
\n\tEscalate operational issues or customer complaints promptly.<\/p>\n
WORKING HOURS & SCHEDULE\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tThe shop operates Monday to Saturday, in line with the company policies
\n\tSaturday work is mandatory and forms part of the normal working week.
\n\tThe employee shall be required to report in good time to facilitate opening and closing of the shop. Residing near the shops is an added advantage\u00a0<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE (MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS)<\/p>\n
\tCertificate or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
\n\tMinimum of 1\u20133 years\u2019 proven experience in retail sales (mandatory)\u00a0
\n\tApplicants who do not meet this experience requirement shall not be successful.<\/p>\n
COMPETENCIES & SKILLS<\/p>\n
\tStrong customer service and communication skills.
\n\tHigh level of accuracy in invoicing, receipt issuance, and cash handling.
\n\tAbility to work under pressure in a busy retail environment.
\n\tReliable, disciplined, and trustworthy.
\n\tAvailability and willingness to work weekends is mandatory.<\/p>\n
PERFORMANCE & CONDUCT STANDARDS<\/p>\n
Performance and conduct shall be assessed based on:<\/p>\n
\tSales target achievement.
\n\tAccuracy of documentation.
\n\tPresent-ability\u00a0
\n\tShop cleanliness and order.
