KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
\tDevelop research objectives, proposals and drive partnership research programmes.
\n\tBuild and manage strategic partnerships with research institutions and donors.
\n\tIdentify and secure research funding opportunities. Design and conduct cross-sector ICT research and impact evaluations.
\n\tAnalyze research trends and provide evidence for decision making.
\n\tPublish and disseminate research findings and recommendations.
\n\tSupport new initiatives and projects of the Institute.<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tMaster’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Business Management or related field.
\n\tBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications.
\n\tAt least 3 years of proven experience in independent research.
\n\tAt least 2 years of proven experience in leading quantitative and mixed methods research.
\n\tPhD is an added advantage.<\/p>\n
KEY COMPETENCIES<\/p>\n
\tProven record of research proposal development with a high win rate.
\n\tAbility to build collaborative relationships and networks. Excellent report writing and communication skills. Strong data analysis, GIS and statistical software skills.
\n\tAbility to plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
