Role Summary:<\/p>\n
This is a key clinical position that will provide a critical impact on our ability to provide comprehensive primary care to our patients. We are looking for individuals who can ensure an outstanding patient experience while providing the highest quality laboratory results. This engagement is on an as-needed basis. Successful locum candidates will be contacted when opportunities become available.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tCollect, prepare, and process samples for a diverse range of laboratory tests, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
\n\t\u00a0Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring they remain in optimal working condition for precise and efficient testing.
\n\t\u00a0Actively participate in quality control procedures to uphold the accuracy and timeliness of laboratory testing.
\n\t\u00a0Monitor laboratory stock levels, generate monthly orders, and implement proper storage conditions for laboratory supplies.
\n\t\u00a0Maintain accuracy in recording and interpreting test data within Electronic Medical Records.
\n\tPrepare comprehensive reports summarizing test results and findings.
\n\tFoster a collaborative and friendly work environment by working effectively with colleagues.<\/p>\n
Key requirements and attributes\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tDiploma, Higher Diploma or BSC in Medical Laboratory Science
\n\tCurrent registration with KMLTTB\u00a0
\n\tMinimum of 3 years experience in a busy Laboratory setup\u00a0
\n\tHave a valid BLS Certificate
\n\tFully proficient in a wide range of lab services, including hematology\u00a0
\n\tOutstanding patient interaction skills and ability to collaborate well with teammates<\/p>\n
