Job Description<\/p>\n
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining efficient operations.<\/p>\n
\tManage and operate a designated section of the kitchen (e.g., sauces, grills etc)
\n\tPrepare, cook, and present dishes according to menu specifications and quality standards
\n\tAssist in menu planning and recipe development to enhance our culinary offerings
\n\tEnsure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations in your station
\n\tSupervise and train junior kitchen staff in your section
\n\tCollaborate with other chefs to maintain smooth kitchen operations and timely food service
\n\tMonitor and maintain inventory levels for your station, placing orders when necessary
\n\tAssist the\u00a0Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations as needed
\n\tParticipate in menu tastings and contribute creative ideas for new dishes
\n\tMaintain cleanliness and organization of your work area and equipment<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tCulinary diploma from a recognized culinary school
\n\tPrevious experience as a Chef de Partie in a 4\/5 Star Hotel
\n\tProven expertise in a specific culinary station\u00a0
\n\tStrong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment
\n\tExcellent understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
\n\tValid food safety certification\u00a0
\n\tProficiency in menu planning and recipe development
\n\tExperience in a high-volume\u00a0restaurant\u00a0preferred
\n\tKnowledge of various cuisines and current culinary trends
\n\tStrong time management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
\n\tExcellent team collaboration and communication skills
\n\tPhysical stamina to work long hours in a standing position
\n\tFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
\n\tAbility to work effectively in a multicultural environment<\/p>\n
