Position Overview<\/p>\n
\tOur client is seeking a\u00a0skilled and detail-oriented Manual Welder\u00a0to join its production team. The role involves performing\u00a0high-quality welding and fabrication work\u00a0using manual welding techniques, ensuring all outputs meet required\u00a0quality, safety, and production standards.
\n\tThe ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in welding, a strong understanding of fabrication processes, and the ability to work effectively in a\u00a0fast-paced industrial environment.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tPerform manual welding using\u00a0ARC and MIG techniques.
\n\tMeasure, assemble, and weld\u00a0metal components\u00a0with precision.
\n\tInspect completed welds to ensure\u00a0strength, quality, and compliance\u00a0with standards.
\n\tOperate, maintain, and troubleshoot\u00a0welding equipment and tools.
\n\tAdhere to\u00a0Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures\u00a0at all times.
\n\tRepair and rework\u00a0defective or damaged metal components.
\n\tMaintain a\u00a0clean, organized, and safe work environment.
\n\tCollaborate with\u00a0supervisors and workshop teams\u00a0to meet production targets.
\n\tReport\u00a0material defects, equipment faults, and safety concerns\u00a0promptly.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Requirments<\/p>\n
\tCertificate or Trade Test in\u00a0Welding, Fabrication, or a related field.
\n\tMinimum\u00a02\u20135 years of hands-on experience\u00a0as a Manual Welder, preferably in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
\n\tExperience in\u00a0motorcycle fabrication, structural steel, piping, or sheet metal work\u00a0is an added advantage.
\n\tValid\u00a0welding certification\u00a0(where applicable) is desirable.<\/p>\n

Working Conditions<\/p>\n
\tFactory or workshop-based environment.

\n\tExposure to\u00a0heat, sparks, and welding fumes\u00a0(appropriate PPE provided).
\n\t12-hour shifts\u00a0(7:00 AM \u2013 7:00 PM), rotating on a weekly basis.<\/p>\n

Compensation Structure<\/p>\n
\tUngraded Artisan:\u00a0KES 20,073.06 per month (exclusive of overtime).
\n\tArtisan Grade III:\u00a0KES 25,139.17 per month (exclusive of overtime).
\n\tArtisan Grade II:\u00a0KES 28,174.38 per month (exclusive of overtime).
\n\tArtisan Grade I:\u00a0KES 34,217.60 per month (exclusive of overtime).<\/p>\n
