Grow and Deliver External AI Consulting<\/p>\n
\tBuild IDinsight\u2019s external AI Transformation Advisory practice into a sustainable, high-impact service line serving nonprofits, governments, and foundations.\u00a0
\n\tEngagement leadership:\u00a0Serve as the senior lead on external advisory engagements, owning client relationships, strategic direction, deliverable quality, and team allocation.
\n\tClient development:\u00a0Identify, scope, and structure new AI advisory engagements.\u00a0
\n\tService design:\u00a0Codify IDinsight\u2019s AI transformation approach into repeatable frameworks, toolkits, and playbooks covering governance, change management, tool development, and benchmarking.
\n\tTraining and workshops:\u00a0Design and deliver executive workshops, workflow redesign sessions, and training programs that build lasting client capability.
\n\tThought leadership:\u00a0Represent IDinsight externally through blog posts, conference presentations, and sector conversations on AI transformation.<\/p>\n
Lead internal AI Product Strategy<\/p>\n
\tOwn the product roadmap for IDinsight\u2019s internal AI journey. Lead a team building custom AI solutions that change how IDinsight and our partners deliver core services.
\n\tProduct vision and roadmap:\u00a0Define and prioritize which custom AI products to build, determine make\/buy decisions, ensure custom builds are reserved for problems that off-the-shelf tools can\u2019t solve.
\n\tUser-centered discovery:\u00a0Drive user research and workflow audits to identify where AI can deliver step-change improvements across IDinsight\u2019s business units and external partners.
\n\tDelivery oversight:\u00a0Ensure products move from concept to deployed tools on quick timelines, apply agile principles, stop what doesn\u2019t work and scale what does.
\n\tMeasurement:\u00a0Track improvements with hard metrics. Use data to drive strategy and execution decisions.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
We\u2019re looking for someone who combines consulting expertise, product leadership, technical fluency, and entrepreneurial drive.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\t8\u201315 years of professional experience, with significant time in consulting, digital transformation, product management, or technology implementation, ideally serving governments, foundations, or social sector organizations.
\n\tPeople management:\u00a0Track record of building, managing, and developing high-performing teams that include both technical and non-technical roles.
\n\tProduct leadership:\u00a0Experience owning a product roadmap end-to-end, from user research and problem definition through build, launch, measurement, and iteration.
\n\tClient-facing consulting:\u00a0Experience leading complex advisory engagements, managing senior client relationships, and delivering results against defined success metrics.
\n\tTechnical fluency:\u00a0Strong understanding of LLM capabilities and limitations, AI agent architectures, and the practical realities of deploying AI in organizations. Ability to credibly direct a technical team. The role does not require production coding skills.\u00a0
\n\tChange management:\u00a0Demonstrated success driving technology adoption in complex organizations.
\n\tProject development:\u00a0Experience contributing to or leading proposal development, client scoping, and revenue generation for consulting or advisory services.
\n\tCommunication:\u00a0Exceptional written and spoken communication, with the ability to translate complex AI concepts for non-technical executives, donors, and NGO leaders.
\n\tSelf-directed:\u00a0Proven ability to identify opportunities and build something from limited structure in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.<\/p>\n
