Valley Hospital is a leading Level 4 hospital in Nakuru City offering both inpatient and outpatient services. We are seeking to recruit a\u00a0Claims Officer\u00a0to join our Finance Department.\u00a0<\/p>\n
This role is essential in ensuring\u00a0timely\u00a0and\u00a0accurate\u00a0preparation, submission, and follow-up of medical claims.\u00a0The position supports the hospital\u2019s revenue cycle by minimising claim rejections, reconciling payments, and\u00a0maintaining\u00a0proper documentation in compliance with payer and hospital policies.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualifications\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s Degree in\u00a0Insurance,\u00a0Business Administration,\u00a0Healthcare Management,\u00a0Finance, or a related field.\u00a0
\n\tMinimum of\u00a0three (3) years\u2019 experience\u00a0in a similar role within a medium to large organization.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u00a0Skills Required\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tStrong understanding of medical claims procedures, billing, and coding
\n\tProficiency in claims management and hospital information systems
\n\tExcellent attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation
\n\tAnalytical skills with the ability to resolve claim discrepancies
\n\tStrong communication and coordination skills\u00a0<\/p>\n
