The role focuses on proactive sales generation through direct outreach, strategic partnerships, and digital marketing initiatives targeting aviation stakeholders including airlines, air operators, airport personnel, cargo and logistics companies, aviation security personnel including private security firms.<\/p>\n<p>Key Accountabilities:<\/p>\n<p>Sales Generation &amp; Business Development<\/p>\n<p>\tActively identify, target, and convert new clients through direct sales, cold calling, and relationship building.<br \/>\n\tDevelop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective students and corporate clients.<br \/>\n\tPromote Academy training programs to airlines, ground handlers, cargo agents, aviation security companies, and related stakeholders.<br \/>\n\tConduct client visits, presentations, and follow-ups to secure training enrolments.<br \/>\n\tClient Relationship Management<br \/>\n\tBuild and sustain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders.<br \/>\n\tServe as the primary contact for external training inquiries and corporate accounts.<br \/>\n\tIdentify client training needs and purpose suitable training solutions.<\/p>\n<p>Marketing &amp; Brand Promotion<\/p>\n<p>\tDevelop and execute targeted marketing campaigns (digital and traditional).<br \/>\n\tManage and grow the Academy\u2019s presence across social media platforms and digital channels.<br \/>\n\tSupport development of marketing materials, brochures, and promotional content.<br \/>\n\tMonitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategy.<\/p>\n<p>Performance &amp; Reporting<\/p>\n<p>\tAchieve monthly and quarterly enrollment targets for external candidates.<br \/>\n\tTrack and report weekly to the Head of Training, key sales metrics, including leads, conversions, and revenue.<br \/>\n\tMaintain accurate client and sales records.<\/p>\n<p>Digital and Content Execution<\/p>\n<p>\tCreate high quality marketing visuals with Canva or similar marketing tools.<br \/>\n\tDevelop engaging social media content aligned with academy branding.<br \/>\n\tUtilize AI tools to generate marketing copy, campaigns, and outreach messaging.<br \/>\n\tManage and optimize digital lead generation funnels.<\/p>\n<p>Key Competencies:<\/p>\n<p>\tStrong sales drive with a realistic-oriented mindset.<br \/>\n\tExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.<br \/>\n\tAbility to build and maintain professional relationships.<br \/>\n\tHigh level of initiative and self-motivation.<br \/>\n\tStrategic thinking with strong market awareness.<br \/>\n\tAdaptability and resilience in a target-driven environment.<br \/>\n\tDigital marketing and content creation capability.<br \/>\n\tData-driven decision making.<br \/>\n\tProficient in AI-assisted productivity tools.<br \/>\n\tVisual communication and branding execution.<\/p>\n<p>Knowledge &amp; Skills:<\/p>\n<p>\tProven knowledge of sales techniques including cold calling and direct marketing.<br \/>\n\tUnderstanding of B2B sales process and client engagement.<br \/>\n\tFamiliarity with digital marketing tools and social media platforms.<br \/>\n\tStrong presentation and proposal development skills.<br \/>\n\tBasic understanding of the aviation training industry is an added advantage.<br \/>\n\tProficiency in CRM Systems, with previous experience in HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar is an advantage.<br \/>\n\tAbility to capture, update and maintain accurate client and sales data within the CRM.<br \/>\n\tExperience using CRM tools for:<br \/>\n\tLead tracking and pipeline management;<br \/>\n\tClient follow-ups and engagement history;<br \/>\n\tReporting on sales performance and conversion metrics;<br \/>\n\tBasic photography and content creation skills, including working knowledge of Nikon cameras (or similar DSLR equipment) for capturing high quality marketing visuals.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications &amp; Experience:<\/p>\n<p>\tDegree \/ Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or related field.<br \/>\n\tMinimum 2-4 years\u2019 experience in sales and marketing.<br \/>\n\tExperience in training institutions, aviation, logistics, or security sectors preferred.<br \/>\n\tDemonstrated experience in lead generation, client acquisition, and revenue growth.<br \/>\n\tExperience in digital marketing and social media campaign execution is highly desirable.<\/p>\n<p>Apply Through:<\/p>\n<p>www.linkedin.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"http:\/\/www.linkedin.com","_company_name":"Tradewinds Aviation Services","_company_website":"http:\/\/www.tradewindskenya.com","_company_tagline":"Tradewinds Aviation Services headquartered in Kenya, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport started as a freighter Company in 1987 and now a well established Ground Service Provider to airlines and airports in Kenya.
