To oversee and build quality management systems that will ensure products meet standards created together with supplier, business and in-house development engineers through inspections, audits, and process improvements.<\/p>\n
Job Details<\/p>\n
\tDevelop, implement, and maintain a quality management system, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ISO 9001, GMP or similar.
\n\tOversee QC procedures to detect defects, inspecting raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
\n\tLead internal and external audits, investigating quality deviations to determine root causes and implementing corrective actions.
\n\tSupervise, train, and mentor QA\/QC inspectors, technicians, and laboratory staff.
\n\tAnalyze quality metrics and data to identify trends, gaps in testing, and opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
\n\tCollaborate with procurement and suppliers to establish material standards and monitor compliance.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tLean 6 Sigma, Certified Quality Auditor or Engineer, ISO 9001 Quality Auditor.\u00a0
\n\t10\u201315+ years in quality control or assurance, with several years in a management capacity.
\n\tProficiency in Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data analysis software.
\n\tGood understanding of Kenyan regulatory standards
\n\tStrong leadership skills
\n\tAbility to communicate with senior management
\n\tAttention to detail
\n\tGreat problem-solving abilities.
\n\tBachelor\u2019s degree in engineering, Science or a related field.<\/p>\n
