Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tMinimun Certificate in Fiber optics or related field. Atleast 1+ years of experience in a similar role. Basic understanding of fiber network concepts. Proficiency in fiber handling & maintenance.
\n\tStrong problem-solving skills and technical expertise.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tInstalling and terminating fiber optic cables and other network equipment.
\n\tResolving Loss of Service and Connections within SLA.
\n\tEnsure tickets are updated timely and closed with clears once resolved.
\n\tObserving Health & Safety guidelines and ensuring quality assurance throughout the implementation and maintenance period.
\n\tEducating clients on basic troubleshooting processes and answering fiber optic related questions from customers. Individuals will work as a team with other technicians and NOC personnel and report to field supervisors.
\n\tFiber link faulting and faults resolutions within the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
\n\tSplicing fiber optics at various fiber distribution hubs, troubleshooting and testing fiber links with a light source, optical power meters and an OTDR.
\n\tProviding timely updates on fiber faults to the NOC personnel and ensuring excellent customer service to the client.
\n\tAny other duty that may be assigned from time to time.<\/p>\n
