Main Duties Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tHandle accounts receivable cycle.
\n\tAnalyse and reconcile cash and credit customers.
\n\tMonitor customer accounts to ensure payments are received on time.
\n\tCollaborate and support our sales team to ensure payment terms are maintained to ensure
\n\tsmooth service to our customers and on customer queries.
\n\tRepresent the company positively and professionally during collection processes.
\n\tEnsure customer ledgers and accounts records are up to date and accurate.
\n\tIssue and process customer credit notes.
\n\tGenerate regular reports on receivables aging.
\n\tPrepare journal vouchers.
\n\tAssist with preparation of statutory returns, including VAT.
\n\tAssist to develop schedules, procedures and systems to facilitate efficient workflow.
\n\tMaintain accurate records and ensure all records are kept organised and up to date.
\n\tEnsure all internal control processes are adhered to.
\n\tAssist during audits.
\n\tConduct internal system reviews, highlight internal control weaknesses and contribute to\u00a0continuous improvement of receivables processes and controls.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tACCA or CPA affiliate or member.
\n\tProven experience in accounts receivable.
\n\tStrong reconciliation and analytical skills.
\n\tGood understanding of VAT and statutory return processes.
\n\tExperience with an ERP (preferably SAP Business One will be added advantage).
\n\tExcellent communication (both written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n\tProficient user of Microsoft Office.
\n\tOrganised and capable of paying attention to detail.
\n\tSelf-driven, flexible and capable to work both as part of a team and independently.
\n\tProblem solver with attention to detail.
\n\tFlexible and adaptable to changing priorities and a fast-moving environment.<\/p>\n
