Job Purpose<\/p>\n
\tThe Assistant Head of Processing Plant supports the Head of Processing Plant in managing SUVAC\u2019s integrated operations. The role ensures effective daily execution across fish processing, fish meal production, and leaf drying, while assisting in implementing KPIs, operational systems, and process improvements. The Assistant Head provides leadership to supervisors, supports production planning, and contributes to scaling operations in line with Victory Farms\u2019 mission of efficiency, quality, and sustainability.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities\u00a0<\/p>\n
Support and Stabilize Processing Operations<\/p>\n
\tAssist in managing SUVAC operations (processing, fish meal, novel).
\n\tSupervise daily activities across processing functions.
\n\tMaintain floor presence to support execution and enforce standards.
\n\tContribute to structured daily operations.<\/p>\n
Support Performance Management and KPIs<\/p>\n
\tMonitor KPIs (throughput, yield, costs, quality) under the guidance of the Head.
\n\tAssist in implementing daily tracking and performance routines.<\/p>\n
Contribute to Improvement and Scaling<\/p>\n
\tIdentify inefficiencies and propose solutions.
\n\tSupport initiatives to improve yield, productivity, and cost efficiency.
\n\tParticipate in trials and process improvement projects.
\n\tAssist in scaling operations in a structured, repeatable manner.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with Production, Operations, and Support Functions<\/p>\n
\tSupport implementation of operational systems and processes.
\n\tContribute to production planning and capacity management.
\n\tCoordinate with harvesting, logistics, and technical teams.
\n\tAssist in data collection and reporting for performance monitoring.<\/p>\n
Academic and Professional Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in supply chain management, Agribusiness Management, Food Technology, or related field.
\n\tMinimum 5\u20137 years of experience in manufacturing, processing, or industrial operations.
\n\tSupervisory or mid\u2011management experience in food processing or industrial operations.
\n\tStrong operational and problem\u2011solving skills, with exposure to KPI tracking and performance systems.\u00a0<\/p>\n
