About the role<\/p>\n
\tBURN is looking for a\u00a0Quality Assurance Technician works with the QC team manufacturing staff and research and development team to ensure inspection and testing procedures are implemented and maintained. He\/she will assist in the development of standards to meet quality requirements.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tSupport the New Product Development (NPD) & Operations team by collecting test data, drafting reports, and giving quality feedback throughout the test period.
\n\tEnsure the technical documents required for production meet document control and revision requirements.
\n\tAnalyse data to identify trends in product quality or defects to mitigate and prevent recurrence and future defects. Identify root causes of problems in the production process; recommend and\/or implement corrective measures.
\n\tConduct an audit on quality jigs and fixtures, tools, and equipment to ensure they are calibrated and up to date.
\n\tEnsure that products meet the organization, customers\u2019 quality, and product integrity requirements.
\n\tEnsure manufacturing processes comply with industry standards and regulations. Identify possible areas for improvement in quality control processes.<\/p>\n
Skills and Experience<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in mechanical engineering.
\n\tMinimum of 2 years of experience in the manufacturing or production environment, preferably in QA\/QC or process engineering.
\n\tWorking knowledge of quality control methodologies.
\n\tExperience in inspection and testing processes, including the use of measuring instruments.
\n\tStrong data analysis skills (Excel or Equivalent) for identifying trends, defects, and process deviations.
\n\tFamiliarity with document control systems and revision management.
\n\tUnderstanding of relevant industry standards, e.g., ISO 9001, EN standards where applicable.
\n\tBasic CAD skills, e.g., SolidWorks, Auto CAD for reviewing drawings, and jigs and fixtures.
\n\tExperience with quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP
\n\tKnowledge of lean Manufacturing\/ Six Sigma principles.
\n\tHigh attention to detail and structured problem-solving approach.<\/p>\n
