Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Project & Programme Implementation:<\/p>\n
\tSupport the end-to-end implementation of commercial projects and programmes across current electric B2C markets.
\n\tAssist in the planning, coordination, and tracking of project activities to ensure delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.
\n\tMonitor project progress and flag risks or delays for timely mitigation.
\n\tMaintain up-to-date project documentation including plans, trackers, and implementation records.<\/p>\n
New Market Entry:<\/p>\n
\tCoordinate all tasks related to new market entry, including logistics, regulatory requirements, and operational readiness.
\n\tEnsure inter-departmental alignment so that all functions are prepared ahead of market launch dates.
\n\tTrack and report on market entry milestones, escalating any risks that may affect rollout timelines.<\/p>\n
Sales & Distribution Model Support:<\/p>\n
\tSupport the piloting and scale-up of new sales and distribution models across electric markets.
\n\tEnsure sales pilots are aligned with specific market requirements and customer needs.
\n\tCoordinate with relevant internal teams to facilitate timely scale-up of successful pilots.<\/p>\n
Stakeholder Coordination:<\/p>\n
\tLiaise with internal departments including Operations, Finance, Marketing, Carbon, and Supply Chain to ensure projects receive the required cross-functional support.
\n\tEngage external stakeholders such as distributors, partners, donors, and in-country teams as required to support project delivery.
\n\tFacilitate inter-departmental meetings, track action items, and follow up to ensure commitments are met.<\/p>\n
Reporting & Communication:<\/p>\n
\tPrepare regular project status reports covering progress, completion rates, risks, and mitigations.
\n\tMaintain project dashboards and trackers that provide clear visibility into the status of all ongoing initiatives.
\n\tCommunicate project updates clearly to internal stakeholders and senior management as required.<\/p>\n
Budgeting & Financial Monitoring:<\/p>\n
\tAssist in the preparation of project budgets and ensure expenditure is tracked against approved allocations.
\n\tFlag budget variances and work with relevant teams to recommend corrective action where required.<\/p>\n
Data Analysis & Insights:<\/p>\n
\tConduct data analysis to support project decision-making, performance measurement, and commercial strategy.
\n\tPrepare data summaries, reports, and visualizations as required by the team.<\/p>\n
Sales Team & Carbon Compliance Support:<\/p>\n
\tProvide operational support to in-market sales teams, including onboarding assistance for new markets.
\n\tSupport carbon compliance activities for electric markets, including data collection, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Ad Hoc Support:<\/p>\n
\tTake on additional tasks and projects as directed by the Commercial Project Manager or senior leadership.
\n\tContribute to the improvement of project management processes, tools, and templates within the team.<\/p>\n
Skills and Experience<\/p>\n
\tBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Project Management, Economics, or a related field.
\n\t2 to 3 years of relevant experience in project coordination, commercial operations, or a related role.
\n\tProficiency in project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, Smartsheet, or MS Project.
\n\tProficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
\n\tStrong analytical and data interpretation skills.
\n\tExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear reports and presentations.
\n\tAbility to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
\n\tHigh level of attention to detail.
\n\tProject Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
\n\tBackground in clean cooking or the renewable energy industry.
\n\tExperience working in or supporting sales and commercial teams.<\/p>\n
