We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Timber Construction Foreman for an alltimber sustainable project requiring precise geometry, disciplined installation, robust waterproofing, and a high standard of finish, with structured construction records for certification.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Scope\u00a0<\/p>\n
\t\u2022Timber structural frame is installed by a specialist subcontractor
\n\t\u00a0Exterior cladding, timber waterproofing, termite protection, and all exterior and interior finishing works are carried out by the in-house team\u00a0<\/p>\n
Role\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tWork from architectural and structural drawings\u00a0
\n\tCheck subcontracted timber structure installation against geometry, dimensions, and connection details in accordance with drawings\u00a0
\n\tCorrect deviations before work proceeds\u00a0
\n\tLead and supervise in-house cladding, waterproofing, and finishing works\u00a0
\n\tMaintain high standards for fixings, timber protection, installation, and finishing quality\u00a0
\n\tComplete daily construction records and logs<\/p>\n
Requirements\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tExperience delivering timber structures and high-quality finishes on site\u00a0
\n\tExperience must include timber structures (e.g. timber framing, timber roof structures, timber decking or similar); furniture\/joinery-only experience is not suitable\u00a0
\n\tAbility to read and apply architectural and structural drawings for complex geometry\u00a0
\n\tExperience supervising contractors and managing site teams\u00a0
\n\tStrong understanding of timber fixings, connections, and waterproofing details\u00a0
\n\tAttention to accuracy, detailing, and final finish<\/p>\n
