Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Fabrication Duties<\/p>\n
\tRead and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and workorders
\n\tCut, shape, and assemble metal parts using tools such as grinders, cutters, and welding equipment
\n\tPerform welding (MIG\/TIG\/Arc) as required
\n\tMeasure and mark materials for accurate fabrication
\n\tInspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications<\/p>\n
Machine Operation<\/p>\n
\tOperate machines such as CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, presses, or cutting machines
\n\tSet up machines and adjust settings for optimal performance \u2022 Monitor machine operations to ensure efficiency and quality \u2022 Load and unload materials into machines<\/p>\n
Maintenance & Safety<\/p>\n
\tPerform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of machines
\n\tEnsure all tools and equipment are in good working condition
\n\tFollow workplace safety standards and use PPE at all times
\n\tMaintain a clean and organized work area<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tPossession of a Diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Fabrication, or a related technical field.
\n\tProven professional experience in metal fabrication and industrial machine operation.
\n\tComprehensive knowledge of various welding techniques and the use of specialized machine tools.
\n\tStrong ability to accurately read and interpret complex engineering and technical drawings.
\n\tExcellent physical stamina and manual dexterity to handle demanding workshop tasks.
\n\tThorough understanding of safety standards and protocols within a manufacturing environment.<\/p>\n
