Role Description <\/p>\n
\tWe are seeking a full-time Head of Collections to lead and optimize our collections operations. Based in Nairobi County, Kenya, this is an on-site role responsible for overseeing the effectiveness of the debt recovery processes, managing a team of collection professionals, and driving operational excellence. Core responsibilities include designing and implementing collection strategies, monitoring results, analyzing key performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role also involves liaising with clients, providing strategic guidance to achieve recovery goals, and fostering strong relationships to protect customer trust.<\/p>\n
Qualifications <\/p>\n
\tExtensive experience in Debt Collection and Collections Management
\n\tStrong Analytical Skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making
\n\tProven skills in Team Management, including leading, mentoring, and motivating large teams
\n\tIn-depth knowledge of Finance principles relevant to credit management and debt recovery
\n\tExcellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
\n\tAbility to work on-site in Nairobi and manage multi-location operations effectively
\n\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; a Master\u2019s degree is an added advantage
\n\tKnowledge of debt recovery technology and tools will be beneficial<\/p>\n
