Job Summary<\/p>\n
The Showroom Sales Executive is responsible for converting showroom visits and inquiries into sales, directly contributing to revenue generation and supporting business cash flow. The role combines sales execution and basic design consultation, requiring the ability to understand client needs, recommend suitable interior solutions, and deliver a high-quality customer experience that strengthens brand perception. The role plays a key part in client acquisition, lead conversion, and maintaining strong client relationships.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Sales & Customer Engagement<\/p>\n
\tAttend to walk-in clients and provide professional product and service guidance
\n\tUnderstand customer requirements and recommend suitable interior solutions
\n\tConvert showroom visits and inquiries into confirmed sales
\n\tFollow up on leads and quotations to drive revenue generations
\n\tSupport consistent cash flow by ensuring timely client decisions and order confirmations
\n\tMeet individual sales targets and contribute to overall team performance<\/p>\n
Design Consultation & Advisory<\/p>\n
\tConduct basic design consultations for walk-in and referred clients
\n\tInterpret client needs, preferences, and space requirements into practical design solutions
\n\tAdvise on layouts, materials, finishes, and color combinations
\n\tAssist clients in visualizing final outcomes using samples, references, or simple sketches
\n\tEnsure proposed solutions align with client budget and project timelines
\n\tCollaborate with technical teams for more complex design requirements<\/p>\n
Product Knowledge & Presentation<\/p>\n
\tBuild and maintainMaintain strong knowledge of products, materials, finishes and services offered
\n\tClearly communicate\/explain features, benefits, pricing, and deliverable timelines to clients
\n\tGuide clients in selecting suitable products based on budget and design needsAssist clients in making design and product selection decisions

Customer Experience & Brand Representation<\/p>\n
\tDeliver a professional, engaging, and positive customer experience at all times
\n\tEnsure all client interactions reflect the company\u2019s quality and brand standards
\n\tBuild trust with clients through knowledgeable and helpful engagement
\n\tHandle client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally preferences
\n\tRecommend cohesive design solutions (materials, finishes, and styles)<\/p>\n
Lead Management & Client Acquisition<\/p>\n
\tCapture and record all client inquiries and showroom visits
\n\tFollow up consistently to improve lead conversion rates
\n\tBuild relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
\n\tSupport the Sales & Marketing Lead in growing the client base<\/p>\n
Showroom Operations Management<\/p>\n
\tEnsure the showroom is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times
\n\tArrange displays and samples to enhance customer experience
\n\tTrack and report stock levels of samples and marketing material and coordinate replenishment where needed<\/p>\n
Coordination & Support<\/p>\n
\tWork closely with the Sales & Marketing Lead and technical teams to refine client requirements and ensure smooth order processing
\n\tEscalate complex design requests to senior designers where necessary
\n\tAssist in preparing quotations and basic proposals
\n\tCoordinate client site visits and measurements when required
\n\tFollow up on order progress and keep clients informed<\/p>\n
Marketing Support<\/p>\n
\tAssist with showroom promotions, campaigns, and events
\n\tSupport social media or basic marketing initiatives where needed<\/p>\n
Reporting<\/p>\n
\tTrack daily leads, inquiries, and sales conversions
\n\tProvide regular updates on showroom performance and customer trends as directed.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\u200bQualifications & Requirements<\/p>\n
\tDiploma or Certificate in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related design field (preferred)
\n\tAlternatively, Diploma in Sales\/Marketing with proven experience in interior or furniture sales
\n\t1\u20132 years\u2019 experience in a customer-facing or sales role
\n\tBasic understanding of interior materials, finishes, and space planning
\n\tBasic computer skills (MS Office; design tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar are an added advantage)
\n\tProven sales and customer service skills<\/p>\n

\tSales & Conversion Ability: Strong ability to engage clients, present solutions confidently, and convert inquiries into sales

\n\tCommunication & Client Engagement: Clear, professional communication with the ability to simplify technical or design concepts for clients
\n\tCommercial Awareness: Ability to balance client preferences with budget considerations while supporting business profitability<\/p>\n
