Front Office Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tReceiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
\n\tPreparation insurance claims for submission and maintenance of relationships with third party payers.
\n\tAnswering, screening and forwarding incoming calls.
\n\tReceiving and sorting daily mail.
\n\tListening to client complaints and escalating promptly to the Centre Manager
\n\tMaintains and documents petty cash usage under the supervision of the centre manager.
\n\tDocuments actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records as required.
\n\tProtects organizations values by keeping patient information confidential.
\n\tMaintains workflow by following standard operating procedures and policies.
\n\tMaintains work operations by following standard operating procedures and policies.
\n\tTo conduct data entry and clerical tasks.<\/p>\n
Accounts Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tAccurate and systematic registration of clients\u2019 details into the electronic health records systems.
\n\tBalances daily cash accounts at the end of end of each day in the hospital. Maintains petty cash and receives approvals from the line manager to spend.
\n\tCorrect billing of cash and credit (NHIF and private health insurance) clients.
\n\tLiaise with the finance team to resolve any discrepancies in daily transactions.
\n\tMaintains all accounting records and ensures discrepancies have been reported and resolved with the line manager.
\n\tMakes daily, weekly and monthly reconciliation and transaction reports,
\n\tVerifies insurance acceptance and benefits by reviewing and recording insurance claims.
\n\tCollaborate closely with the Care Assistant to consistently deliver client-centred care.<\/p>\n
Other \u00a0Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tUpdates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities which include attending CMEs.
\n\tTo support clients through the provision of vocal local techniques during procedures when required.
\n\tFollows all aspects of the infection prevention protocol and assist in Infection Prevention activities as directed by the centre manager
\n\tEnsures cleanliness of the entire facility by cleaning as instructed by the centre manager upon request.<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS
\nQualifications:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum Certificate\/Diploma qualification in Front office Management
\n\tTertiary qualification in Accounts, business studies, customer care or similar will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n
Skills:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 2 year in office administration and accounting (Preferably in a hospital setting)
\n\tPossess advanced computer skills and experience in MS Office
\n\tDemonstrated high attention to detail and ability to follow through tasks to completion.
\n\tPunctual and reliable
\n\tGood organisation and prioritisation skills
\n\tAbility to work with less supervision and initiative.
\n\tTrustworthy and responsible.<\/p>\n
