Job Purpose\/Objective<\/p>\n
\tAn officer at this level will be deployed in a busy Level 3B Hospital and will be responsible for managing all administrative services. They will oversee and coordinate administrative functions to ensure efficient, compliant, and patient-centered service delivery in the facility, supporting clinical operations and strengthening overall performance in line with Ministry of Health standards.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tOversee daily administrative operations of the hospital
\n\tDevelop and implement hospital policies and procedures in line with Ministry of Health\u00a0(MOH)\u00a0guidelines
\n\tManage hospital budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation
\n\tSupervise administrative staff and coordinate HR functions including recruitment, training, and\u00a0performance management
\n\tEnsure compliance with government regulations, public service policies, and healthcare standards;\u00a0
\n\tCoordinate procurement and supply chain management of medical and non-medical supplies;
\n\tPrepare and present administrative and financial reports to hospital management and county\u00a0health authorities;\u00a0
\n\tStrengthen partnerships with stakeholders including county government, NGOs, and\u00a0community representatives
\n\tOversee maintenance of hospital facilities and assets
\n\tPromote quality improvement and patient-centered service delivery
\n\tHealth Fleet Management\u00a0
\n\tMaintain Health assets and liabilities\u00a0
\n\tEnsure safety and security of employees and patients within the hospital premises in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health guidelines
\n\tCoordinate the preparation of the hospital annual operating plan and budget
\n\tEnsure reliable provision and efficient utilization of electricity, water, gas and communication supplies to the hospital.
\n\tPrepare and submit monthly and quarterly reports to the Medical Officer in Charge.<\/p>\n

Required Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n
\tHigher National Diploma as well as relevant professional qualification.
\n\tDesired, 5 years relevant working experience
\n\tHigher level technical expertise that requires moderate to long range planning, analysis, problem solving and reporting<\/p>\n
