The Role<\/p>\n
\tBased in Kisumu, the Sales Manager will be responsible for the company\u2019s revenue growth. This is a leadership role that requires a blend of high-level strategy and hands-on team management. You will bridge the gap between our production capabilities and the market\u2019s infrastructure needs.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tSales Strategy:\u00a0Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans for our product portfolio (Ballast, Aggregates, Cabros, Building Blocks, Asphalt Concrete, and Precast items).
\n\tBusiness Development:\u00a0Identify and secure high-value opportunities in the construction, real estate, and public infrastructure sectors.
\n\tAccount Management:\u00a0Build and maintain long-term relationships with contractors, developers, transporters, educational institutions, and corporate clients.
\n\tMarket Intelligence:\u00a0Monitor regional trends, competitor pricing, and customer demand to ensure Stonefield remains the market leader.
\n\tTeam Leadership:\u00a0Supervise, mentor, and drive the sales team to consistently meet and exceed revenue targets.
\n\tReporting & Budgeting:\u00a0Prepare accurate sales forecasts, departmental budgets, and monthly performance reports for senior management.
\n\tSupply Chain Coordination:\u00a0Liaise with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and 100% client satisfaction.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tEducation:\u00a0Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
\n\tExperience:\u00a0A minimum of\u00a03\u20135 years\u00a0in sales management, specifically within the quarry, construction materials, cement, or manufacturing industries.
\n\tIndustry Knowledge:\u00a0Deep understanding of the Kenyan construction and building materials market.
\n\tLeadership:\u00a0Proven ability to manage a sales team and drive performance in a high-pressure environment.
\n\tTechnical Skills:\u00a0Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM systems.
\n\tSoft Skills:\u00a0Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
\n\tLogistics:\u00a0A valid driving license is a significant advantage.<\/p>\n
