Job Summary<\/p>\n
\tOur client, an investment company focused on joint investments for its members through real estate investments, marketable securities, and private equity, is seeking to recruit an experienced and strategic Financial Controller. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the organization\u2019s financial operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, preparing accurate financial reports, and providing financial insights to support decision-making at the Board level.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tPrepare and present accurate financial reports and management accounts to the Board of Directors
\n\tOversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cash flow management
\n\tEnsure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and financial reporting requirements
\n\tManage financial controls, risk management processes, and internal audit functions
\n\tMonitor investment performance and provide financial analysis on real estate, marketable securities, and private equity portfolios
\n\tCoordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies
\n\tEnsure timely preparation and submission of tax returns and statutory deductions
\n\tLead and supervise the finance team to ensure efficient financial operations
\n\tProvide strategic financial recommendations to support business growth and investment decisions<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
\n\tCPA(K) qualification or equivalent professional certification
\n\tMust be a member of ICPAK in good standing
\n\tMinimum of 5\u201310 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting
\n\tPrior experience in real estate investments, marketable securities, or private equity is highly preferred
\n\tStrong knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, and investment accounting
\n\tExcellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills
\n\tAbility to work independently and handle confidential financial information with integrity
