JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
\nThe\u00a0Transient Line Technician\u00a0is responsible for assisting the Transient Line Production Superintendent with ground handling and servicing of arriving and departing aircraft. Duties include performing standard aviation operations and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:<\/p>\n
\tProviding ground handling and servicing for arriving and departing aircraft, including refueling, towing, and securing as required.
\n\tFollowing and performing\u00a0Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) standard marshalling commands, ensuring safe and efficient aircraft movements on the ground.
\n\tSupporting aircraft maintenance checks, inspections, and operational activities under supervision.
\n\tCoordinating with T-Line supervisors and other team members to ensure timely servicing of all aircraft.
\n\tOperating ground support equipment (GSE) and other vehicles in compliance with safety protocols.
\n\tAssisting in the implementation of procedures for safe handling of large-body aircraft operations, ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with aviation industry and organizational standards.
\n\tIdentifying and resolving minor maintenance or servicing issues when required or escalating them to the appropriate personnel.
\n\tMaintaining records of services performed and reporting any discrepancies or issues encountered during servicing activities.<\/p>\n
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
\tMinimum\u00a0two (2) years of general aircraft maintenance experience. (Experience with\u00a0large-body aircraft\u00a0is preferred.)
\n\tDemonstrated understanding of\u00a0FAA standard marshalling commands\u00a0and ability to perform these tasks confidently.
\n\tMust possess a current and valid driver\u2019s license (U.S. or International).
\n\tKnowledge of aviation ground handling practices and procedures, with an emphasis on safety compliance.
\n\tHigh school diploma or equivalent.
\n\tMust be in possession of a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.
\n\tPassport should be valid for a minimum of one (1) year or more at the time of hiring.
\n\tAbility to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain requirements for the duration of deployment.<\/p>\n
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:<\/p>\n
\tFormal aviation ground handling certifications or related training.
\n\tPrevious experience in servicing large-body aircraft operations, including cargo and passenger aircraft.
\n\tFamiliarity with Air Mobility Command (AMC) procedures and best practices.
\n\tPrior experience in an OCONUS (Outside the Continental United States) operational environment or austere environments with a multi-national workforce.
\n\tValid country driver\u2019s license and passport.
\n\tExcellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.<\/p>\n
