This role will focus on driving sales growth, building strategic partnerships, and enhancing our market presence in the vocational education sector.<\/p>\n<p>As member of the Enterprise Learning &amp; Skills (ELS) VQ Sales Team, the Sales Specialist will work collaboratively as appropriate with colleagues to build business in line with customer needs. You will provide expert professional guidance and support to your customers.<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>Sales Strategy Development:<\/p>\n<p>\tLead on the annual and LRP strategy for growth<br \/>\n\tDevelop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the vocational education market.<br \/>\n\tAnalyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.<\/p>\n<p>Stakeholder Management:<\/p>\n<p>\tBuild and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including educational institutions, government bodies, and industry partners.<br \/>\n\tLiaise and build relevant regulatory and other recognition within the territory.<br \/>\n\tCollaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on product offerings and customer needs.<\/p>\n<p>Commercial Tasks:<\/p>\n<p>\tDeliver accurate and timely financial forecasts, and commercial performance reporting<br \/>\n\tLead negotiations and close deals with educational institutions and corporate clients.<br \/>\n\tPrepare and present sales proposals, ensuring they meet the specific needs of clients.<\/p>\n<p>Market Research and Analysis:<\/p>\n<p>\tConduct market research to identify potential clients and assess their needs.<br \/>\n\tMonitor and report on sales performance metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement.<\/p>\n<p>Leadership:<\/p>\n<p>\tDeliver a culture of high performance and accountability.<\/p>\n<p>Experience:<\/p>\n<p>Proven experience in sales, preferably in the education sector.<\/p>\n<p>\tStrong understanding of vocational education and training systems<br \/>\n\tProven track record of delivering and exceeding sales targets<br \/>\n\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills<br \/>\n\tAbility to work independently and as part of a team<br \/>\n\tProficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.<br \/>\n\tValid driver&#8217;s license and access to a car as travel will be required.<br \/>\n\tProficiency at\u00a0C1\u00a0level in\u00a0English<br \/>\n\tDesirable:\u00a0B2\u00a0proficiency in\u00a0Swahili or French<\/p>\n<p>Apply Through:<\/p>\n<p>hccz.fa.em3.oraclecloud.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"http:\/\/hccz.fa.em3.oraclecloud.com","_company_name":"Pearson","_company_website":"http:\/\/www.pearsonafrica.com","_company_tagline":"At Pearson, we\u2019re committed to a world that\u2019s always learning and to our talented team who makes it all possible.
