Business Development &amp; Account Growth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>About the Role<\/p>\n<p>\tBCE Systems is seeking a commercially strong, disciplined and self-driven\u00a0Sales Officer\u00a0to support the company\u2019s growth by building and managing a serious sales pipeline, identifying new opportunities, following up prospects, developing client relationships, and converting opportunities into business.<br \/>\n\tThe Sales Officer will be responsible for ensuring that opportunities do not go cold, clients are followed up professionally, prospects are actively developed, CRM records are maintained, and sales activities are executed and closed with discipline and urgency.<br \/>\n\tThis role is ideal for a commercially hungry professional closer who wants to grow with the company and has the potential to eventually develop into a Sales Management role, subject to demonstrated performance and sustainable business growth.<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Sales Pipeline Development<\/p>\n<p>\tIdentify, pursue and qualify new business opportunities across BCE\u2019s target markets.<br \/>\n\tBuild and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects, leads and opportunities.<br \/>\n\tConduct outreach through calls, emails, meetings, visits, networking and other appropriate channels.<br \/>\n\tResearch target organizations, decision-makers, procurement cycles and potential project opportunities.<br \/>\n\tMaintain consistent follow-up with prospective clients until opportunities are clearly closed, converted or disqualified.<\/p>\n<p>Business Development &amp; Client Engagement<\/p>\n<p>\tDevelop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.<br \/>\n\tUnderstand client needs and communicate them clearly to the Managing Director and technical team.<br \/>\n\tArrange meetings, demonstrations, calls and follow-up engagements with prospects and clients.<br \/>\n\tIdentify opportunities for repeat business, renewals, upgrades, cross-selling and account expansion.<br \/>\n\tRepresent BCE Systems professionally in client-facing engagements.<br \/>\n\tKeep dormant or past clients active through structured follow-up and relationship management.<\/p>\n<p>Sales Coordination &amp; Commercial Support<\/p>\n<p>\tSupport preparation of quotations, commercial proposals and client responses.<br \/>\n\tCoordinate with internal technical, finance and administrative teams to obtain information required for sales follow-up.<br \/>\n\t\u00a0Follow up with suppliers, partners and manufacturers on non-technical commercial information when required.<br \/>\n\tTrack client requests, pending quotations, submissions and action points.<br \/>\n\tEnsure all sales opportunities are documented, updated and followed through.<br \/>\n\tMaintain a database of clients and prospects.<br \/>\n\tDemonstrate ownership, accountability and consistency in sales execution.<\/p>\n<p>CRM, Reporting &amp; Sales Discipline<\/p>\n<p>\tUpdate the company\u2019s CRM system accurately and consistently.<br \/>\n\tMaintain records of leads, calls, meetings, proposals, quotations, opportunities and follow-up actions.<br \/>\n\tPrepare weekly sales activity reports for review with the Managing Director.<br \/>\n\tTrack sales performance metrics, including leads generated, meetings held, quotations issued, opportunities advanced and deals closed.<br \/>\n\tSupport pipeline review meetings and provide accurate status updates on all assigned opportunities.<br \/>\n\tEnsure that no serious lead, enquiry or opportunity is left unattended.<\/p>\n<p>Inbound Enquiries &amp; Customer Follow-Up<\/p>\n<p>\tRespond to assigned inbound sales enquiries in a timely and professional manner.<br \/>\n\tQualify inbound prospects and escalate serious opportunities.<br \/>\n\tFollow up clients after meetings, quotations, submissions and project discussions.<br \/>\n\tCapture client feedback and identify areas where BCE can improve its products, services or engagement.<br \/>\n\tSupport customer satisfaction by maintaining professional communication before, during and after the sales process.<\/p>\n<p>Required Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, ICT, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field.<br \/>\n\tAt least\u00a03\u20135 years\u2019 experience\u00a0in B2B sales, business development, account management or technology sales.<br \/>\n\tExperience in ICT, telecommunications, security systems, public safety, cybersecurity or systems integration will be a strong advantage.<br \/>\n\tProven ability to prospect, follow up, build relationships and close or support closure of business opportunities.<br \/>\n\tStrong written and spoken communication skills.<br \/>\n\tGood presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills.<br \/>\n\tProficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, email tools and general business software.<br \/>\n\tAbility to understand technical products and solutions sufficiently to communicate their business value to clients.<br \/>\n\tExisting networks in enterprise, government, NGOs, telecommunications, security, or related sectors will be an added advantage.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Required Competencies<\/p>\n<p>\tStrong commercial drive and hunger for results.<br \/>\n\tHigh level of ownership and personal accountability.<br \/>\n\tExcellent follow-up discipline.<br \/>\n\tAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.<br \/>\n\tStrong relationship-building skills.<br \/>\n\tProfessional confidence when dealing with clients and senior decision-makers.<br \/>\n\tAbility to learn technical concepts quickly.<br \/>\n\tOrganized, meticulous and reliable in maintaining records.<br \/>\n\tEthical, trustworthy and aligned with BCE\u2019s values.<br \/>\n\tResilient and persistent in pursuing opportunities.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Performance Expectations<\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate measurable progress in:<\/p>\n<p>\tNumber and quality of new leads generated.<br \/>\n\tNumber of client meetings or engagements secured.<br \/>\n\tQuality and consistency of follow-up.<br \/>\n\tAccuracy of CRM and pipeline records.<br \/>\n\tNumber of quotations, proposals or opportunities advanced.<br \/>\n\tConversion of opportunities into revenue.<br \/>\n\tGrowth of active accounts and repeat business.<\/p>\n<p>Benefits<\/p>\n<p>Compensation<\/p>\n<p>\tThe role will be structured on a\u00a0base salary plus performance-based commission\u00a0model.<br \/>\n\tThe compensation structure is designed to reward serious performance.<\/p>\n<p>Apply Through:<\/p>\n<p>recruit.bce.systems<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"http:\/\/recruit.bce.systems","_company_name":"BCE Systems","_company_website":"http:\/\/N%20\/%20A","_company_tagline":"BCE Systems is a Private Limited Liability Company.
