Role Summary<\/p>\n
\tThe Medical Officer is responsible for providing comprehensive, patient-centered medical care at the medical center while upholding the highest clinical, ethical, and professional standards. This role works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care, while also supporting quality improvement initiatives and mentoring junior clinical staff. Success in this role means excellent patient outcomes, high satisfaction, and consistent adherence to clinical and ethical standards.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tProvide comprehensive medical evaluations, diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, prescribe appropriate treatments, and monitor patient progress to ensure high-quality care.
\n\tOffer counseling, health education, and clear communication to patients and families, addressing concerns with empathy and professionalism.
\n\tMaintain accurate medical records, comply with legal and ethical standards, and ensure patient confidentiality at all times.
\n\tParticipate in clinical audits, implement best practices, engage in continuous medical education, and support service utilization in line with medical center standards.
\n\tProvide supervision, mentorship, and support to junior medical staff, contribute to interdisciplinary learning, and promote teamwork within the medical center.<\/p>\n
You\u2019ll Be a Great Fit If You Have;<\/p>\n
\tAn MBChB degree from a recognized medical school.
\n\tRegistration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board (KMPDB).
\n\tAt least 2 years\u2019 experience in an outpatient clinical setting.
\n\tStrong clinical knowledge and diagnostic skills across a wide range of conditions.
\n\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\n\tAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment<\/p>\n
