\tConsistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
\n\tExceed guest expectations.
\n\tExtensive food, liquor, beer, wine and cocktail knowledge.
\n\tPrepare basic beverages for guest service up to and including basic cocktails.
\n\tInteract with guests in a way that makes them feel special.
\n\tProper and friendly service when in contact with all guests.
\n\tComply with liquor laws.
\n\tMaintain accountability, both personal and financial.
\n\tControl bar costs.
\n\tMaintain cleanliness and organization of bar prep area and bar.
\n\tControl cost and waste.
\n\tClose out paper work thoroughly.
\n\tMaintain extensive knowledge of menu, food preparation techniques.
\n\tBe pro-active by assisting co-workers.
\n\tSupport and assist Managers.
\n\tBe proficient with all aspects and services of the property.
\n\tBe familiar with all food outlets and amenities within the property.
\n\tBe knowledgeable of general city information as well as hotel history.
\n\tPersonal and financial accountability.
\n\tBe an ambassador for the department, the property and the brand.
\n\tMaintain regular and predictable attendance.
\n\tOther duties as assigned.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tPrevious customer service experience required preferably in upscale setting.
\n\tPrevious bartender experience required.
\n\tPrevious point of sale system experience preferred.
\n\tExcellent communication and organizational skills.
\n\tStrong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
\n\tHighly responsible and reliable. Can work with minimal supervision.
\n\tAbility to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
\n\tAbility to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a small team and independently.
\n\tAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
\n\tSuccessful completion of server position training program.
\n\tMust have previous experience serving in a luxury environment.<\/p>\n

\tFrequent standing and walking throughout shift
\n\tOccasional lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
