These systems provide clean, healthy, and affordable drinking water to communities that need it the most.<br \/>\n\tAs a Junior Field Service Technician, you will support the operation and maintenance of the solar water systems at assigned sites. You will work under the guidance and supervision of the Senior Field Service Technician to ensure that all systems are running efficiently, safely, and in compliance with established standards.<\/p>\n<p>Duties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>\tTroubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing energy and water treatment systems.<br \/>\n\tHandle the maintenance and repair of boreholes, injection wells, soak pits, and associated plumbing.<br \/>\n\tConduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of solar water systems.<br \/>\n\tMonitor system performance, collect operational data, and report any abnormalities to the Senior Field Service Technician.<br \/>\n\tMaintaining and repairing civil, mechanical, and electrical installations at the sites.<br \/>\n\tMaintain accurate maintenance and repair records at assigned sites.<br \/>\n\tMonitor water quality parameters and ensure compliance with KEBS requirements.<br \/>\n\tSafely handle tools, electrical components, and water treatment chemicals as trained.<br \/>\n\tEnsure all work is conducted in compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.<br \/>\n\tProvide technical guidance and training to the site-level teams.<br \/>\n\tPerform any other duties as assigned<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n<p>\tDiploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Water Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.<br \/>\n\tAt least 2 years of experience in technical maintenance or field service, preferably in solar, water treatment, or related systems.<br \/>\n\tSolid understanding of solar energy systems, water treatment processes, and electrical controls.<br \/>\n\tEPRA registration as a T1\/T2 or equivalent training (a plus but not required).<\/p>\n<p>Critical Competencies:<\/p>\n<p>\tExperience in both solar and water equipment<br \/>\n\tExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.<br \/>\n\tStrong communication and interpretation of verbal and visual technical information.<br \/>\n\tAbility to physically troubleshoot, dismantle, and rebuild equipment.<\/p>\n<p>Salary: 93,000 KES<\/p>\n<p>Apply Through:<\/p>\n<p>www.linkedin.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"http:\/\/www.linkedin.com","_company_name":"GivePower","_company_website":"http:\/\/www.givepower.org","_company_tagline":"GivePower's mission is to electrify the world with clean energy and provide greater health, economic and educational opportunities.
