Job Purpose<\/p>\n
\tTo ensure provision of quality physiotherapy services to helping patients affected by injury, illness or disability through movement and exercise. manual therapy, education and advice.<\/p>\n
Duties And Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tConduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations in line with approved clinical standards.
\n\tAdminister a full range of physiotherapy treatment techniques.
\n\tDevelop, implement, and review individualised treatment programmes using exercise, movement, and range of motion techniques. Monitor patient progress and report outcomes to referring physicians.
\n\tCollaborate with ward staff, nurses, and doctors to ensure safe patient handling and holistic care.
\n\tEducate patients, carers, families, and community agencies on treatment and home programmes.
\n\tEnsure timely maintenance and servicing of equipment and facilities.
\n\tUphold high standards of care, compassion, professionalism, and legal accountability. Drive continuous improvement of physiotherapy services within the department.
\n\tStay current with emerging physiotherapy techniques and technologies.<\/p>\n
Professional Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tDiploma in Physiotherapy Kenya Society of Physiotherapy
\n\tAt least 2 years experience in the relevant field.<\/p>\n
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities<\/p>\n
\tExcellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong team player with proven leadership abilities
\n\tAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines
\n\tComputer literate
\n\tSkilled in patient handling and manual therapy techniques
\n\tHigh level of integrity, honesty, and sincerity Committed to patient confidentiality and ethical practice
\n\tPatient, empathetic, and compassionate in care delivery<\/p>\n
